Ah...I liked this game. RR II was a bit better in some ways. Liked how you had certain racers follow you in this one and sometimes you caught them scrapping.

Some people said the MegaDrive had a bad sound card compared to the Snes but the MegaDrive was capable of amazing tunes like this! All the Road Rash series have great songs in, proves the MegaDrive COULD make good songs.

@BPhoenixProductions If memory serves the Genesis/Mega Drive used a Yamaha-sourced synthesizer chip, which is why it sounds so much different than the SNES' General MIDI.

Indeed it did. Since the Frequency Modulator was used in a lot of Yamaha synths, it's also the reason my old Yamaha MIDI keyboard has a Sitar synth that is identical to the one used in Sonic & Knuckles' "Sandopolis". Lol.
