Magique ! J'ai vu Joan à Dijon en ce mois de septembre, la voix n'est plus la tout à fait même, l'accompagnement musical était minimaliste mais la magie opère toujours. Un grand moment. Grand respect pour cette grande Dame !

Once upon a time we have heard this song at Expo Hall, Osaka! The artist was Mary Hopkin...it was on oneday of midsummer in 1970.

My mother used to sing me and my brothers this song to go to sleep but she invented the words in Spanish. We loved it. Now I sing it in English to my daughter even though it's quite sad. My daughter loves it as well...
