  • wow this makes me all nostalgic omg

  • @bally28 you're either thinking of fragile rock or trap door, which by the way was narrated by Terry Wogan. Right I'm away to have a long hard look at my life now :(

  • @boxingbuddhist

Think you've mixed up a bit. Terry Wogan narrated Stoppit & Tidyup; Trap Door was narrated by Willy Rushton.

  • WORDY!!!....... You ANNOYING...... LITTLE..... ORANGE..... BASTARD!!!!

go and have some magic MAGIC EEEEEE's

  • does anyone remember some kids programme where there was a small door which kept these small ppl or monsters with masks in....such vague memories...it was terriyfing...im sure they would come out at night...boy wish i had more of an idea.

  • what an awful pair an Asian and a commoner.

  • My Favourite was the story about the Peregrine Falcon. I wish at least an episode of that story was on here. Anyone remember that one?

  • @vizardm1972 Yes, I would like to see that too, it was called Sky Hunter

  • @littlepoukis I thought the pergrine falcon one was geordie racer lol

  • Holy crap, wordy is Petr Cech!

  • This seems to be a particularly cross-curricular programme- English skills AND nature studies?

  • I just wisj the rest of the Badger Girl episodes were uploaded.

  • "Magic E", double entendre?

  • @borgduck I wouldn't think so , in this year. Early 90s yes, so it's just a coincidence, albeit a very good one. :)

  • omg this is ace..i can remember a little girl that finds a doll in he freezer in the shop..any ideas what it was called?....

  • @MrRach33 I think that programme was called ""Tottie a Doll's House" Unfortunately it's not a happy ending as one of the other doll's (I think she was called Marchaline), became jealous and started a fire in the doll's, killing one of the other dolls!!

Also seem to have a sad memory of Badger Girl - weren't these ponies being smuggled to France for the meat market?

  • @solay78 bloody hell thats terrible. why do kids shows/films have to be so full of horror? Its like we have to be conditioned to be scared and submissive. Ok I get the dont play with fire message but ponys smuggled to france for meat, thats just evil.

  • This show got me loving badgers!

  • can somebody upload the look and read story "cloud burst" with ram fucking pandit and mrs green?

  • well he was right Es are magic

  • when i went dogging i found some beaver hair

  • Magic, Magic E...

  • Right class, everyone into the library while I wheel out this massive-fuck-off telly on a trolley and fuck about trying to get the video to work. 2 minutes if fast forwarded Zig-Zag, and we're off.

The 2 kids - one was in the railway children and the girl is a young Ray Winstone right?

  • I remember that experience :) They always had to call down the technician (or ask one of the children in the class!) to just get the video player working...

  • My god! We lived parallel lives.

  • Oh I remember that very well :D lol

  • @Planetwatts Me too! My favourite Look and Read story and I still have my workbook from this which must be a collector''s item now! Must ask Dad to get it from the loft and I saw it once!

  • @fraserkatie Oh wow! <:D Serious!? You lucky person, we had to hand ours back >:(

Collectors item guaranteed my friend ;)

  • @38Highbury

ha ha yeah massive telly all schools must of had thrm lol the video was massive as well :)

  • @38Highbury - Bwhahahahaha, sooo true! And if it wasn't fast forwading it was getting the tracking right and waiting for the picture to stop moving across the screen.

  • @38Highbury - Bwhahahaa, sooo true! If it wasn't the fast forwarding it was getting the tracking right and then waiting for the picture to stop moving across the screen!

  • @38Highbury LMAO I remember the massive fuck off telly on the trolly LOL..

  • @qypsyqueen" LMAO I remember the massive fuck off telly on the trolly"

  • @38Highbury im a teacher and ive got some L and rs on dvd! 'ok kids time for watching skills'

  • @38Highbury - Totally spot on - this was always the way. And the tracking was always out :) Plus the videos were always shite quality as they were re-recorded about 50,000 times LOL :) those were the days!

  • @38Highbury LOL Spot On! Wonder what ever happened to those big tellys?

  • Those subliminal messages again yes 'e' is certainly magic...

  • I remember thinking at the time that Magic E Wizard was a bit of a tit. Turns out I was right.

  • Oh my god I saw this in about 1986 and still remember it like last year, how embarrassing! No wonder education was going down the toilet even then.

  • @Agui007 ita actually a good quaility story- better than the crap kids wtach these days!

  • Comment removed

  • clearly look and read taught you nothing.....

  • i love the classic 80's kids tv. Cheers for posting your vids : )

  • Did you know that sometimes the badger was played by a three year old child? They couldnt get a real badger to portray the badger's scenes so they put a child in a badger costume and the girl was called Mary, a welsh girl.

  • Oh, and Barker is Lobot (John Hollis) off empire strikes back, dr who, flash gordon etc etc

  • Magic magic E? How that avoided getting sampled for an early 90s rave tune I'll never know...

  • It might have been but the Magic "E" wizard was good at teaching children silent letters

  • Haha, indeed! This sample over some rough Anasthasia style stabs!

  • @jamesjenko es are good es are good
