It's not just about talking about race, but what kids see on t.v. and what they read in books. If you look for a book for your kid, you can find almost none with characters that are Asian, Latino, or black. When kids watch cartoons or watch shows or movies geared towards them they see very little to no kids that are Asian, Latino, or black. This shapes kids perception and they make value judgments based on this.

Im a black male and i think some black people treat their own people worst that some whites people do. there is a class system in American black society and some middle and upper class blacks will literally spit on poor or lower class blacks. before you talk about white people deal with your own issues first.
