@xxxDEATHCORExxx if you have more than two amps then you need to use a relay. use the remote turn on lead from the radio to activate the relay and have the relay distribute a 12 volt output to a distribution block and then to the amps. a radio's remote is only in millivolts. its enough for one amp but if you have three amps you will have hesitant turn on or your radio's remote wire will short out.

Exo, do you have any advice for converting a double din to to a single din radio in a 2003 Ford F150? I've got to the wires, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to..but yeah, I have to cut, and solder them to new wire harnesses it seems.

1. You need a dash kit for the double din stereo to sit flush

2. a wire connector to adapt to you stock harness. OR cut the wires and splice into the harness.

3. May need an antenna adapter. May not.

haha, theres so many upgrades. You can get an EQ, like 3sixty or IMPRINT. Depending what deck you have you might want a line driver to increase your prevolt output. Higher amp alt. Dynamatt. Yellowtops or kinetik batterys. So many things to choose from.

Port to get big sound, with not much frequency range and you lose a little tightness to the bass.

Non ported .. tight bass, less loud, better range.
