omg, omg i cant believe how peeps could time the mid air rocket launchers.

Ive seen and probably performed most railgun shots but wow. q2 and q3 easily the best games i'd played in my youth. Shame i didnt play it till the bitter end. I remember being able to beat blokey quite easily on q2dm1 when we were both on dialup. But boy he stepped it up a notch since i stopped playing.

What UT certainly lacks are the heavy, gamey effects, of which quake has entirely. The highly visible, strong and fading rail, the extreme power seen from the white-hot steady beam of the lighting gun, and the generously-sized complimentary afterburn trail of the mighty rox. UT is just too real-world; too yawn to uphold itself as a true, ultimate, hardcore FPS. I'll be very sad if id stops the quake line anytime soon :\
