could not a person pre explode the river rock and use the one that dont detonate
or do the insurgents have all the really good ones. im sure the steam will have cracked the best ones before the fire burns out. i did not say to stick your nose up to it durring the test to see if they are going to fly apart . and if you have used mortar its a government permanent structure
and its gonna get taxed as property. No mortar, no tax.
u got it wrong its better if u just get stones from a garden or sumin stick em in a circle or square if your into that throw wood on throw petrol on and have yourself a hick-bonfire
@johnnyLikeVideo No...just dig up the sod, put some rocks around it, and light it on fire. It's a fire, I'm not sure why you need to put sand and stone down. They're just going to get covered in ashes.
@MrShawnsquatch You're right, it's not necessary, but 1) it looks better, 2) it's easier to clean if you choose to do so, and 3) in case of rain, the fire pit won't flood.
where do you get the steel ring from?

no need for the gravel and sand, you can just use flat stones instead.

@101pinkypie101luvz Never use river rock. The moisture from the rocks expand and the rock explodes.

@101pinkypie101luvz as strange as it sounds its because they actually absorbed water.

Here is a webiste to buy a kit like this but it can be expensive. Its a start but you can check out Home Depot for the grate and the metal fire ring
