You should read the books it explains everything much clearer. And I know I should not say this but if u read the book.. Alison has a twin sister named Courtney so in the book
On the first few books they get u to think it was Alison but in book 5 or 6 they say it was really Courtney the twin sister that got sick and switched places with Alison and Alison had to go to the hospital were Courtney was sopoused to go. The books are awesome and they explain everything about the show in better detail

Not only are they pretty little liars, they're pretty good little actresses. Alison is totally beautiful but didn't need to be so harsh. Hate scenes like this anytime I see them. No need to be cruel to anyone for anything dealing with affections, even if a bit misguided.
