Even criminals, during a crime attempt recieve medical treatment, and cash for life should they end up disabled as a result of attempting the crime. I absolutely support getting rid of the CHRCs but that follows into a different realm of legality. You cannot slander or defame people if what you say is known to be untrue. One of the only defences against defamation laws is truth. The Holocaust is not in question, we all know what happened

They brought this case all the way to the highest courts in Canada, taking over a decade in the process to get this lunacy into law. Actually if you look back to the 60's when the first idea of the HRC was developed it was not by Jewish interest groups. While I do agree with you, and this is coming from a Jew, that there have been several Jewish 'self interest' organisations who have abused the HRC they were not the instigators of such an insitution. Borovoy was one of the first to suggest the creation of an HRC and it was on the principle of protecting those who, at that time, were often discriminated against due to sex/race

It doesn't matter if something someone says offends someone else, he still has a right to say it, so long as he isn't calling on people to physically hurt someone or damage their property. If you want say something offensive to my religion and my God, go ahead. If a god is a god, and a religion is true, it should stand up to verbal attack on its own. It does not need me to defend it by gagging any who attack it.

The government of which you speak was the federal Liberals, not the Conservatives. We are still living with Liberal mistakes and will be until the PCs get a majority. Stephen Harper is a good man; he loves his children above all else and would not allow changes in Canada that would threaten their lifestyle - or ours. I don't hate immigrants at all; I actually like the variety. I just hate the constant bellyaching of some of them.

Hating immigrants is wrong. It was our government that flooded our country with third world people, and destroyed our quality of life. It is the Canadian government that fines and jails people for attempting to excersice freedom of speech, and it is our judges that state that "The truth is no defence" in a court of law, not the immigrants. We should focus our disgust on government, not the immigrant.

Hello Exzonie - The health care system in Canada won't change to accomodate guys with Turbans driving motorcycles, instead of wearing helmets. What they should do is to have him sign a waiver which eliminates his head from any health care, or welfare for life cheques. I wish our imports would simply abide by our laws, instead of trying to change our society.

Hello brendan714 - Our government is so afraid to offend our imports that they'd never reduce their medical coverage due to stupidity. Even criminals, during a crime attempt recieve medical treatment, and cash for life should they end up disabled as a result of attempting the crime. Canada caters to the needs and wants of all imports, to the point where they get more than our disabled citizens. Refugees even get more cash per month than normal Canadian old age pensioners.

Interesting. Guess you don't mind adhering to Anishnawbe law then? Since you were "imported" and refused to abide by the law of this land? Instead you 'tried to change' Anishnawbe society, outlawed Anishnawbe economic systems, language, and spiritual practice, and took Anishnawbe children from their parents.
I'd just recommend you exercise some caution about what you *claim* is your belief system around "imports" and respecting pre-existing culture & law. Consistency is important.

Attention Brendan714 - Unfortunately here in Canada our health care system is FREE. Anyone with head injuries can cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care. Also, that person will get a disability pension for the rest of their life.
It is incredible how our government caters to the wishes of minorities in Canada. It is getting a bit sickening to many of us.

Normalman, how many Canadians do you think would dump the current system in favor of a network of insurance policies you could pay for, with perhaps a fund for exceptional (pre-existing conditions, age, etc.) cases.

The Health Care system is NOT free. We just have to hope they die instead. It was the Liberal gov't who catered to minorities as part of their "Divide and Conquer" agenda; it was meant to keep us all at odds with one another so we couldn't get together to fight them on anything. Sanity will return if the PCs get a majority.

Hello Vicsmprini - It is funny to see a Jewish guy at the end of complaint by a Muslim. Normally the Kosher guys are the ones complaining about things said about them. But! I do like the fact he is fighting against Canada's Human Rights Gastapo. That operation is actually too communistic for me.
