This is real. Jimi in the London Brook street apartment february 1969. It is Kathy and friend Angie Burdon + film makers Gold and Goldstein and crew. Royal Albert hall which they also filmed both shows and more! still not out due to 40 odd years of owner ship rights not been in place.

The girl closest to Jimi is Cathy Etchingham. She was Jimi's first real girlfriend when he got to England. I believe this was shot at her flat/apartment. I was lucky enough to get to speak with her on the phone, about 16 years ago. I spoke with her for a whole hour, which cost me about $90.00 at the time. Fascinating conversation! She told me all about little details about hanging with Jimi: about how she would sometimes string his guitar for him, prepare food for him, help pick out his clothes.

I don't know any details or the people that are there although Kathy Etchingham and Mitchell are mentioned. I don't know where it was filmed, it looks like he's reclining on a bed, so I doubt it's backstage in 1969-70.
