Idiots, nothing fake about it, even IF Dave Grohl plays it with capo 2nd fret. And the only thing that makes this cover a bit boring is the lack of an alternating strumming pattern for verse, bridge and chorus!

Dave plays this capo 2 and it works out like this: C(add9) - G - Em7 - D

Those chords in standard? D - A - F#m - E

Not being exactly the same as the original does not make it wrong. It is just in a different key.
