ok so every month when they test this (the 1st monday of the month at 12:00) i stop my work, open the windows and listen to it, my colleagues have to shut up and I they can't bother me at that moment. They have accepted that haha.

I love this sound and will faithfully listen to it every time like a retarded dog at the window....

There are exceptions though: the siren won't be tested on holidays, and if I remember it right, also not on remembrance day, but that's something I don't know for sure.

@Burrettorawsome2me Actually she isn't broken at all. Federal Signal that makes this siren also sells them accross seas and other places. Denmark happens to have these Modulators and that is just the tone they use over there. Its kinda cool too.

If it was a nice tone. We all went listening when for example a chemical factory exploded. So the more irritating the faster we recognize the alarm goes off and we can turn on radio or TV
