  • Lol ummm i love when kids get jelous online saying that jokes and shit because hes better then you and hes only 16 throwing 90mph this kid got clocked at 88-92mph Lol

  • I'm a 90 mph lefty phenom and I can throw 16 year olds.

  • lol....Youtube, where everybody knows the exact pitch speed from a video. Morons.

  • Batters, Can you not make me look bad? We are videoing for youtube...

  • the dude throws hard

  • But it did get us here to look.

  • #24 is the slowest fucking runner in all of baseball.

  • Your catcher sucks

  • 90 my ass that's mid to low 80's at max

  • Hate those fields..

  • is that in long island,NY

  • im 4 and i can throw 150.......

  • @supercritter23 This is in New Jersey, Called Jack Cust Diamond Nation, Flemington New Jersey

  • @spreaditwide13 what does that have to do with anything i just said????

  • go jews!!!!

  • he would be better if he used his upper body to get his leg up.

  • id so piss on this ball, you only throw right down the cock or high and up easy to read.

  • hey catch nice knee savers ya pussy.

  • dont colaspe your back leg

  • that's probably all he throws

  • The team they played pissed down there leg every at bat

  • thumbs up number 14! i use that number in every sport i play!

  • damn what a nice field my field is all dirt...

    even the outfield :(

  • @Reid1Reid1 i feel you.!!! it will only make you a better more humbled player.

  • what team did they play?! i was on the Rampage in that tourney. team from toms river Nj. i Think we might have played you guys.

  • SEMI PRO!

  • i played at this field...the plate is turf.

  • this is diamond nation ive played there so many times lol, i played a team called the titans also i wonder if he was on their team :o

  • Jack Cust Diamond Nation... greatest complex I've played at yet.

  • Hey if the kid pitching ever see's this comment,... PLEASE SLOW IT DOWN. You look like myself and I promise you that if you don't slow it down and work on location more you will blow out your shoulder before you get to use your arm to make any money or a ride to college.. PLEASE LISTEN!!

  • catcher is brutal haha

  • I'm 14 and a righty. I max in mid 70's mph and I have dirty natural movement on my 4 seam by natural release. And I can also pitch some trash but, my 4 seam has so much movement, I don't really need to pitch anything else.

  • knee savers=pussy just sayin

  • @owensdus sure you did.

  • When I was 14 I played Varsity Baseball because I was clocked at low 90's and I just got faster the old I got and I am not 26 and work at walmart. Being a good and faster pitcher doesnt mean anything if your not seen. sorry

  • What a cute little guy, what is he? 5"8?

  • @billyballs68 Does it matter? If he gets outs who gives a shit?

  • @hellsbeast27 I like little guys, whats wrong with that?

  • @billyballs68 I percieved some sarcasm in your comment

  • we have a astro turf field just like this i play on sometimes when we have games, im 14 and i throw an average of 62-64 one time i hit 67 but thats max

  • *Steroids.

  • Well I'm 15 and I throw 85mph and I'm a lefty

  • I'm 15 and I throw 78-80

  • 0:52 what the hell was that kid swinging at

  • nice play ryan

  • yeah the pitchers a stud but the catcher is a savage!

  • k idk if thats 91. turf baseball field??? and the fuckin catcher needs to take those knee savers off... be a man.

  • Velocity is not what defines a big league pitche, mechanics and command my friends.

  • I'm 8 and I can throw a a wiffle ball 250. Get on my level.

  • i miss the days like this when the hitters were fucking retarted

  • nice number

  • nice field

  • this guy is a great pitcher. i know its gotta be hard when he's throwing 90 but that was a pretty bad attempt to block that pitch 0:54

  • all im saying is 90 is sick and so is that turf feild!!

  • i fucking hate those fields.

  • @rafishaba hey i just turned 13 three days ago an i throw 55-59

  • high effort that is probably why he had tommy john

  • i figured that the trick of trowing hard is to stretch your muscles it doesnt matter if you are 150 lbs or 200 lbs if you can stretch very much trowing 90's is no problem i know some guys of 200 lbs trowing under the 60 mph fastballs with good mechanics but are very stiff

  • your mechanics might screw you up you should change them just a little

  • woah pretty good

  • clocked at 64 mph when i was 13....

  • Comment removed

  • @nicoletti87 wats his name

  • The only thing that sucks about throwing 90 at high school level is if you leave it over the plate and the hitter gets any wood on it you'll find that ball in space

  • wow i know someone that threw 90 when he was 16 too hes signed with the yankees now in aa baseball and next year hes goin to the big leagues keep it up u might get ur chance

  • @azbaseballplayer - obviously he could be d1, hes the number one prospect in the country... cant you read?

  • thats great jus but watchin his videos i have faith that he wuld make it MLB keep up da good work

  • In the bullpen the catcher was so scared.

  • haha ive played there before i live 15 minutes away from flemington^^

  • The LI Titans are a great team. My travel team has played them twice this year in tourneys and tied them twice. They always seem to start someone with a great arm.

  • 1:31 why did he start spinning around

  • I like his delivery. Looks cool to me. Haha.

  • He could be D1

  • This looks so fun. Why didn't I grow up playing this sport?

  • do u hav video of him throwing lately?

  • are u playing on sponge?

  • thumbs up for the nice ass field lol

  • @gspad10 its turf.... it looks nice but its not good to play on

  • @gspad10 i know where that field is it is in diamond nation where all of the aau teams play the field is all turf and it is located in flemington new jersey

  • what the hell are the parents feeding the kids these days lol

  • And to finish my point - it's how well you can consistently hit your spots and whether you have any secondary pitch (preferably a change-up) that dictates whether or not you have shot move on to the next level.

  • @bigleagues your right even though im just a 15 year old but some kids in Varsity throw slow but very accurate.

  • A 16-year-old throwing 90 MPH - a phenom does not make.

I played against and with plenty of 15 & 16 year olds that could touch 90 and beyond just in my region. One of them was Scott Burrell.

Scott Burrell was the best pitching prospect in the State with his 90-Plus arm. Yet he was not so good in the pros.

In any given year many more kids than you think throw 90 MPH and do not get drafted nor ever play a day in the pros or beyond college.

  • hes allright but tell him to allways keep his eyes on the target because at the end of his wind up hes looking to his left and also teach him to bend his back more tords the end it will make him very accurate it will take a while but hell get just focus on that just that because his velocity is very good

  • Needs to be more accurate

  • I would rape the first pitch, all 3 guys he threw the first pitch down the middle. He'll learn that people actually notice that on good teams and will get rocked. Not being mean, just giving a tip.

  • @Ponder72FB stfu no you wouldnt

  • @TheBostonSkater Lol yeah I would, he's throws it down the pipe on the first pitch every time, anyone who would watch him instead of screwing around in the dugout would see and crank it.

  • His leg kick gave me an orgasm.

  • i dont give a shit 88mph is all the heat u need to be in the majors, 91 is more then enough, also HES ONLY 16

  • Diamond nation in flemington nj? I played there in the fall and now almost every weekend for team NJ Elite Sugar Kings

  • im 18 and i throw 46

  • DIAMOND NATION! I was there last weekend. 15u tourney, those mounds are awful lol

  • Im 16 and i throw 51.

  • @TheJakeryan09 im 12 ad i throw 60 i think your clocking your curveball

  • @wmorey99 Ok Mr. Strasburg.

  • @TheJakeryan09 YES im 16 and i throw 52 Get at my level

  • @ChubbyKola ok

  • @TheJakeryan09 my dad is 50 and he trows 63

  • @gtgarrett1 You took a picture of yourself in a mirror and put it as your display picture.

  • @TheJakeryan09 im 19 and can throw 30 :P

  • @zackz22 Im actually 17 and im around 85-89. byebro

  • @zackz22 IM 12 and i could throw 40-50

  • @TheJakeryan09 o-o im 15 and i hit mid high 70s

  • you are gifted with some killer genetics man

  • 88 is not 90...

  • @bballboy72 Check his other video he hits 91mph in that one.

  • @bballboy72 horrible mechanics

  • he went 24th pick in the first round to the tampa bay rays.

  • this kid looks pretty good! his off speed is unbelievable it hits like 4 in. in front of the plate. there just hopin its a fastball and swingin as hard as they ccan

  • Great fastball

  • Nice job! You're awesome! Keep up the good work!

  • I played in flemington too its a nice complex

  • His front foot lands kinda awkward, but lookin pretty good!

  • Nice FIELD

  • is that a turf field, where is it? that looks like a great place to play

  • THis field looks like baseball heaven in long island. just cuz of the turf and the fences.

  • @live4baseball98 exactly

  • nice throwing. what town are you from because i am a diamond jack at diamond nation. im on 18 u going to rutgers newark in the fall.

  • Wow-does the umpire seem to be calling a lot of high pitches strikes? Some of those look like they're up at the hands. Or is it a lot more lenient in high school?

  • Comment removed

  • @laz3rb33m I guess....but when I see high school and lower throwing this fast and umps calling high strikes, I almost think they just can't really see it.

I understand the zone changes a bit, but some of those seem unreasonably high. I get what you're sayin though. I'm just used to seeing more MLB level consistency.

  • nice field

  • Comment removed

  • thats some serious power in the lower half from this guy

  • I could jack it. Its too flat and the curve needs some work

  • Very good though

  • Too much junk for that age. He hasn't mastered the fastball yet he's leavin it too far over the plate

  • fast but mechanics could be better. leg was low and didnt land in same spot. I got coached by a pro bu if u fixed those u would have alot better accuracy.

  • NICe~!!!

  • throws pretty hard pretty good mechanics closes the front foot a little to much and short arms the ball easily if he doesnt short arm he'd be hitting 91

  • he looks good, but did anyone else see his ban mechanics with the landing of his foot?

  • @TheBaseballsuperfan yea he closes it a little to much but its beter to have it closed and little bit. CC Sabathia Does it Josh Beckette doest it. all sorts of pitching great have doen it as well. but yea he's closing it a little to much.

  • @the209producers no i was talking about how he lands with his foot at an angle instead of straight. It cause you not to point at the target as well, so you end up throwing more balls.

  • @TheBaseballsuperfan o ok yea I see waht your talking about it does need to be more straight it is pretty much closed up. also he's throwing across is body like that to as well.

  • @the209producers yeah you get what I was talking about

  • He would get so much more velocity if he kicked up his back leg.

  • if you think this kid is good, check out taylor gurrerrei, i play on the same high school varsity team as him, he has hit 100 mph twice and averages 93-97 mph, nice curve and change, signed with south carolina but predicted to go in the first round of the mlb draft.

  • @ryansv2011 he actually did go first round, he went 24th to the tampa bay rays

  • @ryansv2011 no he didnt. i just looked it up

  • @kjdlbj23 google 2011 draft picks, it will show you, i talked to taylor the other day and he is asking 2 or 3.5 million.

  • diamond nation?

  • maybe so he dont hurt him arm, he should be working on his mechanics first

  • is that an all turf field? haha

  • a shame that he doesnt drop his whole body down because that would give him some extra speed

  • @KitKatJunkie

Can you define movement for me since your such an expert?

  • @SadegoGG

    Move-Ment

    1.

    a. The act or an instance of moving; a change in place or position.

    b. A particular manner of moving.

    2. A change in the location of troops, ships, or aircraft for tactical or strategic purposes.

    3.

    a. A series of actions and events taking place over a period of time and working to foster a principle or policy: a movement toward world peace.

    b. An organized effort by supporters of a common goal: a leader of the labor movement.

    Hope that helped.

  • @KitKatJunkie

You can copy paste from a dictionary. Excellent! Now why don't you think about movement and describe how effective human movement is created.

  • @SadegoGG

Hey i already told you enough. My knowledge is not free you know..

  • @KitKatJunkie

You copy pasted a definition out of a dictionary...You didn't give me anything.

I'm going to argue you don't know how effective movement is created. If you don't know hardly anything about movement, then you probably shouldn't be giving people advice about movement. Training mechanics is a violation of the laws of movement.

  • Crazy Arm Speed!!!!!!!

  • that chelsea baker chick is his ho

  • blink at u dont see it at all

  • Notice he isn't that big of a kid, his power all comes from his core.

  • catcher need to learn how to block

  • @VonFox27 yeah but it is 90mph, the kids probably in high school

  • @millerliteisgud *sarcasm*

  • very nice fastball. my only tip wen warming up find ur zone and then start gassin it a lil

  • His release point was a little off in all of these, 3 out of every 5 pitches are either low in the zone or in the dirt

  • @Sportsxpert 2 out of those 3 were breaking balls... and the one the catcher didn't get down and block.

  • @Kr1chfact0rX watch his warmup in the pen too, I'm not knocking him, he's a very good pitcher, and as a lefty he has a great future in college and maybe even beyond if he stays healthy...much better than my sad little 80mph fastball anyway haha

  • @Sportsxpert i get what you are saying though. i just re-watched it. i mean, 80 isn't sad really. it's the phenoms that make others look sad. lets all think about bryce harper for a second. haha

  • @Kr1chfact0rX You watch his "Ultimate Baseball Highlight" video yet? Check the video responses.

  • @Sportsxpert He might be doing that intentionally, knowing that high school players aren't used to that kind of speed and don't really think fast enough

  • id hate to b that catcher lol

  • @aganwin i disagree about his mechanics. elbow is low, dangerously low. Gonna have arm problems. Hes got a dead front side. FIX THIS NOW. please. kids got a rocket for an arm though. hopefully he doesnt get hrt..

  • how fast is his changeup? im a 16 year old junior and i throw about 85 consistent. seeing pitchers like this motivates me alot to throw harder

  • One of the best pitching mechanics I have seen from a non asian pitcher. Keep up the good work

  • nice field!!!!!!

  • awesome on the Stony Brook deal. they have been looking at my son as well. Good luck to you.

  • #44 and #40 BYYYYYY YOUUUUUUUU... haha my team played the titans in u16 perfect game last year in marietta, GA and we sprayed the yardddd

  • Nice looking good. Hows the arm doing now?

  • @coach25100 Going on 1.5 years removed, he's now 100% recovered and due to start closing for the HS team in March 2011 for the first time since the surgery. He's completely changed his throwing motion and has already been clocked over 90 at a few scouting combines. He's heading to Stony Brook next year as the starting CF and closer.

  • @MattMuzic Has he started up again? If so, tell me how he's been doing.

  • :53

    hahah dam!

  • this kid had to get tommy john surgery. Throws even harder now

  • Not to bad. Why only showing one pitch making 88 mph. 2 mph's do make a diff.

  • @coach25100 Check the other video (June 27, 2009) taken 2 weeks later, the kid hits 91mph in that one.

  • did you ever play tri-state aresenal at diamond nation?

  • Wow! 16? Wow.
