lol, if you even tried looking at the game and the program I used you'd know that this is perfectly possible. Also I don't know how I can prove to you that this is real, but the cursor is part of the game.

If I did it in CGI I would've cut the cursor out and demonstrated much more complicated commands.

All actions here are part of the default keyboard shortcuts (of the game), which are pressed by e-speaking, which is the voice recognition program I used.

damn character limit... I also want to add that I'm not claiming this is real in the sense of the spaceship being real. What you see here is a space game on the computer, which is real.

And google Voice Recognition Software yourself, see what comes up, read a few pages and then comment. Or atleast check the video description, go to egosoft forums and read there aswell. Youtube is full of Fakeoholics

I suggest you check out s9ilent's voice recognition and if you encounter any problems you should ask s9ilent ;)

If you need help with getting e-speaking up and running you can ask here. You do have to realize that s9ilent's program can do much more for X3 though.

It does work, but sometimes it picks up sounds from the music as commands. But that's with my headset, if you use a better mic or headset it should be better. Also turning the music down helps, the main problem is that the mic can hear the computers speakers so anything you can do to reduce sound from that can help. You also might want to try a program called "SoliCall" it's designed to reduce acoustic echo for VoiP, so it might help improve things. Hope that helps you a bit ;)

Yes you need to change your name to Thereshallbewings. But for this video I didn't use the script editor ;) Check the description for the program I used and the Egosoft forums for more information on the progress on this project.

This looks quite interesting. But how did you do the script editor ?? Aren't you first have to enable it true naming, like ThereShallbewings ?? or something like that before script editor becomes available ??
