I wish I could play this as fluently as I listen his playing... In a way this is really depressing blues, almost like, "I woke up this morning and then I listened a skillful player until I chopped my guitars into pieces"
@ycoby28 av been looking for ages or guitar tabs for this cant find them att tall make ya a deal tho if i can ever manage to find them ill send them to you and if you manage to find them send me them please i beg ya dude f**king awesome eh
justin is better he may not play blues he only plays chords but his strumming style is unique he plays guitar like a god he's problably the best acoustic guitar player in the world
How dare you call this man a master? This dude has learnt to play the blues scale with speed and dextorosity, there is no personality or heart in his playing
@horbergaren Seriously? The race card needs to be played here also? I personally like Buddy Guy the best and you can't really top King. However this guy uses some intricate playing and composure. And I would say the structure of the song is pretty technical. Just because you a master doesn't mean you're the best. It means your one of the best.
@lonewolf052706 First of all, i usually do not care much about race, with two exceptions, dance and music. Secondly, you can't compose blues man, it's like saying that you compose life, or compose a story. This dude can play fast, and yeah cool he does the hammer on/off very fast and all that, but i might as well just listen to a machine playing it, go and listen to snooks eaglin, elmore james, T-bone, Blind willie, Blind lemon, from top of my head, those are some of the best
@joacoramas lol do you have any idea how long that tab would be, it would take a month to decipher learn it like that. Even still, I doubt he was reading this. Definitely improvised. Learn some scales, blues chords and mix that shit up yourself my friend. Nothing more beautiful than genuine guitar skill and creativity.
This is what I aspire to... It's amazing how learning to play the guitar has caused my musical tastes to change. I didn't used to care much for blues until I started playing. Now I really hear it...and feel it... I definitely feel this!
Yes, just after only our three week online guitar course from jamorama...you can play like this! secret guitar secrets, no practise, listen to our cd's at night IN YOUR SLEEP and presto....you will play like him....ya, right! hard work, years playin.
Anyone who hasn't seen Terry up close and personal is missing one of the great guitar pickers of our time.

HOLLY SHIT!!!! WHAT A FEELING, his style is like a combination of Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, I wanna play like that!!!!!!!!!

This guy is amazing. For real. I do find it ironic, however, that a white guy has mastered the music of poor black men and women from the early 20th century. This isn't a "white people steal everything from black people!" comment, I'm just saying. Come on.
@biscuitman54731 That's why white guys who play the blues, no matter how skilled, will never have the credibility of the original black artists. This guy is a far better player than Muddy Waters or Robert Johnson but his music lacks the soul and feeling. It's like a white guy who grew up in the suburbs rapping about the ghetto, it just doesn't feel authentic. I mean honestly, what does he know about a "mean ol' world?" Oh, and I'm white so don't think I'm being racist--just telling the truth.
Blues is all about the feel of the music. I'm a novice, but i get lost in the way this genre of beautiful music leads me. No matter how much i try to grasp the concept of the basics, I just cant help myself when its just me and the ole' six string.
Terry grew up a block away from us in the Parkrose Heights school district. I still remember hearing the loud electric rock and blues practicing coming from his homes open windows when we were in our teens. I have watched his performances many times in our home town of Portland Oregon over the years. Terry plays as if the guitar was a natural extension of his body. A true master musician and artist. - Mark Seibold

From that page: The 12-bar blues (or blues changes) is one of the most popular chord progressions in popular music, including the blues.
