Does it even matter? Punk is for freedom of expression and being yourself without any boundaries. As long as they have he spirit, that's a good punk for me. Fuck those classification, I don't care if they come from America, U.K, Japan, or even Egypt. Heck, I've heard Egyptian punk band and they're great.

So why classify punk? I thought we're anti-class?

I heard some Russian punk rock the other day and found it great too. doesn't matter where you're from, what language you speak, as long as you don't try to conform to others. I once read a quote from Joey Ramone saying that punk's not about what you WEAR, but what you ARE. in the same quote, he affirmed that even Elvis Presley was punk. and that's not wrong if you ask me. he indeed was a punk in his own way of being.

When people go with Anti-countries flags they're normally are trying to pass the message that they hate that country's government not the country itself...
