This is, or was, probably no more than a mild dermal infection. If it recurrs in the same location, than you should see a physician. I dont think this is an inflamation of the lymphatic system since the lymph nodes in that part of the body are typically under the jawline. Again, see a doctor if you have ANY doubts.

looks like you had a underground pimple i get them and they hurt a lil but if you but the hotest water you can stand on it and do that for a day it should come to a head and you can pop it then its gone and the pain is gone.

I don't usually cut myself in that area when shaving. I also rarely have ingrown hairs anymore. I never was able to lance it and it eventually just went away. IDK... was weird but fun to play with... :-P

Deffinately a cyst. Ingrown hair is the cause. I had to get mine removed with a surgical procedure. Cost me $1008 because I have no insurance.

umm looks like an inflamed lyph node but you should prolly talk to a physician about it if it keeps bothering you, i get them sometimes too but in other body locations
