@johnythanj the fuse might be shot, that happend to one of mine, i had to just get a new one. just make sure you dont plug in more watts than it can handle. like for example mine can only handle 1000 watts so i cant plug in much more than my little heater
Hey I think that boxes are ok for the regius, but don't you think they're a litttle bit wrong for corn snakes or anacondas? Corn snakes want to climb and anacondas need water to swim in. I think it's not ok to keep them in boxes and neither the boa.
@CalxBilko REALLY???? dont comment on stuff if you dont know anything, 1. snakes dont need UV lighting, 2. the heat is from heat tape/heat ropes, not sure what he is using, dont need hides since they are in tubs and the point of hides are to make the feel secure... with they will in a tub... and 4. 1000's of people keep their snakes/reptiles in "bloody food tubs' and its a very good method of keeping reptiles...

Very cool. If you use a few supports in the middle of each shelf in the front, you wont get that sagging and your bins will slide better. Dont give up on building your own. Good luck on everything
I know you said your moving but if you still have this rack you can put up braces in between each shelf. That way you would eliminate the bend in the wood
hey cool vids .. i was wondering if u would know about my ball python it has a white nose and wondering if it wll go away .i only had it for a month so it hasnt shed for me yet .. do u think it will go away
awesome video update. I think your new rack looks very good. Maybe in time it ill loosen up on those really tight tubs or you could get some half in wooden dowel and wedge it beside the tub to raise it about 1/8 inch and prevent further bending.
great vid jeff, i tried makin a rack before and did the same thing half were fine half were to tight, id say after a shed maybe 2 the boa will look fine again 5*
hi m8 sorry for the 2 comments i didnt watch all of the vid befor a sent last comment, 1 thing i will say about stacking the burm an anacondas is you will find it very hard to get a 15+ snakes out of anything higher than waste height. i made that mistake with the retics. just a thought
no worries! thanks for the heads up! but it will only be 3 cages and they will all be on the ground so the top one will be no higher than 4 and a half feet high, and i could put like the smaller male in the top one. =]
why dont you make them a little loser fit not so much so the snake can get out just a 1 mm gap at the top and put a bar down the front to stop them pushing the tubs out, saves busting a gut everytime you want a snake out
hey man just some dividers and slide them in the center of each shelf and it should be perfect cuz i have an 8 foot long rack and it works really well
ya its expensive! i think it was like $24 for one 8'X4' sheet. but i could be wrong...i actually built it along time ago, i just havent gotten around to making a video till just now! haha =P
im not even sure! haha i just kinda set the tubs on the wood and marked it with a pen and then used that piece of wood to trace the lines for all the other pieces. as for the sides i first stacked all the tubs and shelfs with nothing holding them together and then just stood up a piece of wood next to it and marked it with the pen to cut it to the right size. after all that all i had to do was screw it all together. =] lol
ok the night time drop works by setting the helix to the temp you want it to drop to, then plug in the night time drop attachment, then unplug the night time drop attachment from the outlet only (not from the helix), then while its unplugged set the helix to the day time temp, now all you have to do is plug the night time drop attachment into a timer so that it will turn it off in the day time. =] i hope that made sense, if you want i could make a video as soon as i get mine fixed. =]
Put a can of vegetables on the top rack to give you just a bit more space to slide the tubs. BTW, what beeps non stop when you make videos? A smoke detector needing a new battery? Peace out! J
i did that with a piece of wood but i cant make it to big because it pushes down on the other shelfs make them tighter. lol and ya its a smoke detector... haha =P
just spend the mony and buy u an animal plastics rack

melamine is awsome to make cages and racks. ive built them for years using it.
702justin702 10 months ago
when you were building the rack you should have made the top rest on the sides not bolt thur the side into the top.

not to put a your building skill down. But a middle partition would have solved the bow in the wood.
