Buff spread was one of the best things that could happen to smaller guilds that cannot afford class stacking. Class aren't identical - buffs are spread in such a way that 2-3 classes can provide each, so you should be able to make a reasonable raid comp without forcing people into playing classes they don't enjoy just so the group could have a critical buff.

Also, the routine of "no shammy online, no raid tonight" got really old after a while.

As for the classes loosing diversity, I completely agree with TB. But a ban for AFK in BGs is way too severe in my opinion, I think the best thing would be a way to detect someone who's afking and then kick em from BG, then they get like a debuff that keeps em from re-queing and it stacks each time they're kicked

I really think that the solution to the AFK PVP situation is that there should be a cumulative tracking of PVP away reports. If you pass a threshold you get a ban. The timeframe is the debatable point in this scenario, but if you get reported in like 5 BGs in a row you get a 24 hour ban or something, because I STILL see bots, particulary one bot in WSG in which the toon rezzes from alliance GY, mounts, then rides down to just below the horde GY and just stops and gets killed, repeat.

i think blizz should add a debuff to PVP if you dont have more then 10 000 dmg/healing within 5 mins of you joining the match you get kicked out. and for the lower levels of course lower the dmg/healing to something that level range can do. cause of the new system i think this should work.

Excuse me? Getting Time Warp sucks because another class already has it? As a Mage I think that has got to be the dumbest thing you've said since you started Azeroth Daily. Does it suck having fireball because warlocks have shadowbolt? Does it suck having blizzard because of rain of fire, hurricane, and volley? Did it suck having counterspell beause shamans had earth shock? It's an amazing ability that my core 5-man group wouldn't have without me and I use it daily.

FYI there is a bug with the battle of Darrowshire you have to wait for davil to scream "The nightmare ends here" and allow him to engage the corrupted redpath before you engage him, or the quest glitches and you cannot complete it.

10:19 is there something wrong with bring the player AND the class? I think that classes should be as different as possible. Now you may think that this may make WoW into rock paper scissors but that is only if you give only one advantage to each class. Like mages glass cannon, warrior tank, rogue stealth, etc. How about we spice up WoW by giving classes more advantages. Like make it so a class can play like 20 different ways instead of 3. One reason why i like the new AV more, simply because the battles last around 20-30 minutes, and lately my battle group has actually been neck and neck, with the Horde winning some games and Alliance winning some other games. I like this because I was tired of Horde losing all the time, now it seems Horde only loses 50% of the time, which I like a lot better.

About the guild gold and its uses. In my guild things are awesome (in my opinion) because my guild provides the flasks, food and pots for raids. Raiders do have limits to what they can take and the guild bank also pays for the repairbills, which are also limited. Now this is nothing new but our guild also hosts competitions like fishing competition where first place winner gets 3k, secod 1.5k and third 1k. GB also buys herbs from Herbalists for the pots and flasks. Imo this is the best way to go

i think the pvp afk thing is fine if u dont get any hk's you get that cow debuff pritty quickly and u get kicked, its allways a problem with pugs any way, join a pvp guild and do pre mades thats what i do and i love it its enjoyable pvping with ure mates and using ts.

i am a rogue and i never have seen some one not getting taken because of his class tbh, usely a group of 25 man is trying to get full group and accept every one if they wont have to many of that class, and 10 mans are usely doing class runs, even in BoT ect

but about the individualism, I think that with druids its hard to feel like am playing the other class, and with hunters getting focus and a crappy stealth they look like ranged rogues to me :D

Enh shammys used to have to kill the last boss of every instance for a decent 1h axe (I was not a fan of the fist weapons); but then here come rouges who get very good axe's on the first or second boss. That along with DK's having our totem effects just drove me out of the game. q.q

I quit as soon as I saw the feral notes for 4.06. If the devs can just do such major changes to a class (removing an ability that has been around for 6 years) in order to make them all "more balanced", then it's the start of the end.

a agree variety is a very important thing. buuuut just to show you how blizzards class convergence helped me and my guild. i play with 9 rl friends but we didnt start at the same time so everyone rolled the class he liked best. we ended up with 3 pallys 3 mages 2 hunters and 1 druid. now since we had so many hybrids we could actually raid but we had many problems because for certain bosses heroism really would have helped etc..not saying its the best solution but sometimes their policy helps(me)

Idk if it's like this on every server... But on Thrall... 1 It is very horde heavy but also In Tol Barad All horde plays while Alliance is just AFKers and glitched character like a horde with an alliance alt the joins and leaves rly fast so horde can have more people...

after ive played wow for a few months after the cataclysm release, i got 3 characters to lvl 85, 2 of those pretty well geared (ivl 350+) i find it freaking boring. so now i went back to Guildwars, yes Guildwars. the game is not better than wow, but its certainly more relaxing, chilling, fun to play. you might not want to believe this, but unlike in wow, the majority of players is actually NICE to play with.
