Just saw the movie tonight. It was really really good!!!! It is quite insightful and lots of life lessons realized and learned by all, who (characters) were in the movie. Great scenery. For anyone who is into Christianity and trekking it's a "must see"

I am looking very forward to this film! I've always found the two countries of Iberia, Spain & Portugal, to be highly fascinating and absorbing. My ancestry is Spanish, in particular. Hence, a travel movie like this, definitely draws me in. "Eat, Pray, Love", was another big spiritual journey film, that I liked a lot.

Nice balance of touching moments and humorous ones. Lifted my spirits for days. I am not interested in pilgrimages or the Camino,

but enjoyed the personal journeys of the characters. Inspires you to travel more. Very enjoyable.

I just saw a screening of the film with Sheen & Estevez and left impressed with what they did with this. I walked the Camino in 2009 & in 2010 (2nd time through France as well) & was pretty skeptical about it being a formulaic Hollywood melodrama. It wasn't. It's a personal film that's able to translate some of the energy that floats around out there on that road. It's very good. Though not as good as a month walking across a country with beautifully mad strangers from all corners of the globe.
