the only Danish thing about them is that they do know Danish as a second language. and they they are from the Faroese islands which is a country that is a member of the Kingdom of Denmark.

@TheAzathor loads and loads of there songs are in faroese, i believe 1/3 of their songs are in Faroese. all of their non-English songs, exempt the these tre songs: "Brennivín"; which is icelandic, and "Ramund hin Unge" "Sinklars Vísa"; which are in really old-school Danish and at the same time a modern "accent" of Faroese people when they speak Danish.

Song In faroese, by Týr that i dene highly noteworthy are: Tórstein Kvæði, Stýrisvølurin, Túrið Tórkilsdóttir, and of course Regin Smiður.

I`m not familiar with the band's history but in the other video I've seen, Sinklars Visa, the drummer was thinner and more... harrier :P Anyway, great band, glad I stumbled upon them.
