dude dont you use backups i have awesome backups all automated set up by myself (maybe i should make a tutorial???)

most times you can linch the virus by using backup it comes with your os send the backup to another hard drive reinstall your os runn a scanner and then move what you need

u know u should reboot ur comp the go to the bootup and check the 3d, video, recorder.etc in the bootup section or maybe in the control panel or in program files(if u install the vid recorder.etc in programs including graphic card and so maybe in control panel for searching for the vid recorder.etc(means help u record someting) also u said virus maybe the virus ate ur files and thats why ur vidrecorder system is gone..!! install it in internet or buy on cd to instal and restore ur vid recorder.

its time for a Mac, they all come with a free screen recorder and dont get viruses and you can use xcode for programming and the adobe suite is available for mac. As for Windows get Microsoft security essentials for virus protection and try out a free screen recorder called camStudio.

As far as I know, he uses Camtasia Studios. Costs $300. They have a free version called Jing, same quality, but it only exports as SWF, and caps recording at 5 minutes.
