once you play it the second time i notice ALOT MORE and multiple ways u could run and once u get the controls down and find out the maps (which as being a runner u would know but dont at the start of the game) it gets really competitive =D especially in the online time trials =D

the rifle at 4:23 looks like the M95 in Battlefield Bad Company 2, maybe DICE are a bunch of lazy asses and just recycled the gun from mirror's edge, put new textures on it and reused it for BFBC2.

@fro7k i think the issue is that this is a game which is at it's best when it's free-flowing and puts you in the "rush" of constant movement (not to mention you're forced to half the time with dudes shooting you left and right). when you have to stop, look for where you have to go, start, then stop again, and again, and again, it takes away from the experience the game is saying it wants to give, but not actually letting you have it. it's very old-school platformer-style in that way, imo.

If you're given the opportunity to grab a gun and mow down the guards, why NOT do it? If it was a real life situation, it would only help your cause and keep you safer. It would be the logical and safest decision, instead of trusting your fate to your running speed and evasive skills, lol....

@SylphViper when u shoot with the weapons, then u see that the game engine isn't made for shooting - the aiming is difficult and crappy and I think, personally, that's what Dice or EA wanted - of course u can use weapons but I think thats not the sense of the game, because it isn a shooter. there's also a achievement called "pacifist". that's my point of view... and the character of faith isn't bad and she's not a muderer - she's a runner... in my opinien it's more authentic without killing!

My only major complaint were the areas where you are indoors with stacks of crates and crap that essentially create a maze that you have to figure out how to get out of. Those were really tedious and boring. By far the best moments were the segments where you are being chased at high speed. Those were AWESOME. If they were to focus on those segments, then they could make a great sequel.

I think maybe more of a sandbox design (like crysis 1) with more options and ways to reach an objective but I think it should still have levels and progress (like you in crysis if you complete a level you can not go back), otherwise it will not have that same smooth flowing effect the first had (you dont want to start backtracking, it might end up feeling like an RPG then wich doesn't suite ME). and I get the feeling that if it were fully freeroam the level design would not be as good

..oh one last thing, not trying to spam here but to help you with your decision when next console gen arrives:

the biggest advantage of consoles in the past has been playing sitting in your couch starin at your big TV. but in times where every graphics card has HDMI input and most games work with controller, you can do that on PC as well. i played mirrors edge, resident evil, nfs shift etc all lying in my bed on my tv, while having the graphics and sound power of a pc system

I agree with u on pretty every point, BUT: for the best graphics u have to upgrade recently. which makes it more expensive (but games r really cheaper, I agree. cause ppl always steel em). and yeah, mods r cool, no point against that. well I can listen to music while playing consol, over my pc for example ;). Cpu gets upgraded every 3-5 years, since many games don't utilize processor power after a dual core.

hell no I would never spend that much on a consol. Im actually planning to buy a new pc next year but it still wont make me a full pc gamer. dont get me wrong I got at least 30 original copies of pc games here. Rollercoaster Tycoon is one of my all time favourites. but I just prefere to sit on my couch with a TV and a controller instead of sitting on the chair in front of my pc. But the pc got a damn great exclusive game called gothic 2. only a few consol games can beat that

Haven't played Roller Coaster Tycoon in quite a while, was a good game, and I enjoyed the series.

Go for a simple graphics card, a 4670 is more than enough for gaming on high settings, especially games from 2010. Just don't get it with a prebuilt, because the cards worth 50$ and they add 100$ for 'preinstallation.'
