The Doors were all about experimenting and being open minded with the use of sounds, concepts and images. It is a shame that all the people moaning and disliking this remix do not bear that in mind when listening to it. Listen closely to the vast amounts of effects and strange sounds used by Ray Manzarek alone throughout The Doors' entire catalogue of music. If The Doors were still writing music today, I'm sure they would embrace whatever new sounds and styles were available to them.

@OhMercyMe1 I've been a Doors fan practically all my life and I agree with you. People should realize it is actually a testament to the enduring quality of The Doors' music that it can be adapted to different styles and new sounds and still sound raw and amazing. Repetitive 'house music' mixes of rock songs are always terrible, but that's a given... I thought this version was pretty good. Like you said, The Doors were a highly experimental band, I'm also sure they would approve.

@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR It's not the best song but I have heard worse remixes of classic songs, like the dubstep version of All Along The Watchtower and a dubstep Van Halen song. I get tired of "purists" who simply cannot accept that every artist has experimented musically, especially the Doors, and that the artists are probably flattered that people are trying to break new ground with the music. Hey, if Jim had lived long enough to see this he'd probably be pretty stoked.
