  • she wasn't pregnant the dispatchers wife was pregnant...lol

  • i doubt it would have killed the baby, in her womb, the amniotic sac can take a lot of battering, at least i hope not anyways. that would suck

  • STUPID PARENTS NOT SUPERVISING

  • Parents need to really watch their kids. I once saw a little girl playing on her bike, right around traffic and where were her parents? Mom was busy chatting away with a friend, not paying any attention.

Seriously, parents need to start paying more attention to their children. Anyone can turn around and leave a child alone for a few minutes and think, "What could happen?" but the thing is, sometimes for a kid to be in huge danger, all it takes is just a few seconds.

  • holy cow! what a jump! i don't think i could do that.

  • it probably wouldn't hurt the baby if she held her breath really good.

  • at 3:50

  • the woman ran in the pool and she was pregnant it proboly killed the baby

  • no.

  • That's not necessarily true, especially in the earlier trimester of pregnancy.

I'm a Paramedic. A fetus can take more than most people realize. Women have been having babies since time began, and we've managed to create a population in the billions.

    It's a realistic concern though.

  • She wasnt pregant listen more closely bluebutdude1

  • this scary Moments since Washer Baby Twins drowning Thank You

  • when scary starts at 2:10 Nooooooooooooo!!!!!

  • I'm sick and tired of parents not watching their kids.

  • I know it they don't need to have kids if they won't take care of them

  • its easily done, whats also scary though is letting the child use a garden strimmer!

  • that totally depends on the child and age. my grandfathers did work similar to that from the time they were 10

  • I was at a public pool one time and there was a little boy playing a on a floatation thing and I remember the thing flipped over and he went under into the deep end and that moment just completely changed my life when I saw him go under. My friend and i didnt even think we just both jumped into the pool and grabbed him...thank god he was okay

  • There was another one where a baby drowned in a hot tub.

  • Did you see the mom jump in the pool?!?!Her dress flew up like a balloon!

  • How do you get water out of someone's lungs.

  • Was the dad British? He sounded like he had a Northern British accent.

  • At the begining she said her nephew was visiting from England so im going to assume they are all from england living in the US...

  • I guess when you start doing CPR and trying to breve for them.

  • How do you breve? I don't know what that means? Also, who said anything about CPR in the comments your replied to, one of them being mine?

  • I assume he meant 'breathe'. I hate the bad grammar on YouTube.

  • That segment is actually not taken from the 30min syndicated episode. Based on the 1997-1998transparent Family Channel logo I spotted during the first few minutes, it's taken from FAM during the network's final months being The Family Channel before it became Fox Family Channel during the afternoon of August 15, 1998.

  • I spliced in the beginning from the Fam airing, but it mostly comes from the syndicated episode. It changes from Fam to syndication around 2:42 when it changes scenes from the bedroom to the dispatch center. Part 2 is entirely from syndication.

  • ABC Family.

  • I was wondering what was her name the girl who drowned??? Also how old was she??

BY the way she is really cute.

  • Hi, this is John. I was the police officer who responded to this call. I don't recall the little girl's name but she was about two when the happened. The girl in the show was an actor but very closely resembled the girl who fell in the pool. You'll be happy to know that she made a full recovery and was back home in no time.

  • I wish we had a pool

  • man, they couldof herd her. i mean sort of. The were working on the yard work right there!

  • I think they couldn`t hear her because of the machine and as they don`t have eyes inthe back of their heads...I think that was just such bad luck...they don`t look like irresposible parents to me...

  • well, true, but the should at least have the sence to looks every minute if someithng is happening!

  • Who says they didn`t? It doesnt take that long for something to happen...

  • yes, but, you should always watch ova your children

  • Show me any parent who really watches their child every second, day and night....simply not possible and kids that are watched like that will never be normal people. And the one second might be enough for something to happen even with the most watchful parents and some things can happen under your very eyes.

  • I couldn't have said any better myself. You are SOOO right. Even when you are watching them very closely, accidents do occur quite regularly.

  • I'm thinking most people on here who criticize parents for minor oversights don't have kids of their own and don't know anything about parenting. The vultures descent on pretty much every video where a kid gets hurt.

  • True...not only those but on everything they can think of...

  • Bingo!

  • yeah, but every one has parents, and hopefully has seen better, kids+pool-supervision=negligent

for example, today, I was lifeguarding at the pool I work at, this little girl is borderline drowning (was having a hard time staying above water, would have made the rescue but the girl grabbed onto the rail of the stairs that her siblings pushed her off of), and her mother is sitting on the side of the pool, texting on her fucking iphone, people like that really piss me off.

  • OMG how could they have not noticed..It's not like she walked in quietly poor kid at least the parents know..

  • omg this is horrible lol

  • Sounds like John Lennon or George Harrison, maybe Ringo Star

  • Thats nice. She admits to not paying much attention.

  • that why im trying to force my mother to give me swimming lessons children should start swimming lessons at the age of 2-4

  • 99% of these accidents are due to peoples stupidity

  • Well, one reason the parents are probably from the UK is because they had a relative who was visiting from England. That's my hunch anyway.

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 433 votes

  • mrtelevision, how do you know that the parents are from England, besides their accent?

  • they say their cousin or whatever is visiting from england.

  • OMG when i was 2 years old i wasn't aloud to go to the pool, play in the pool, or go outside with out my mom or dad out there with me.Man those parents need to be more responsible

  • my parents wouldnt even let us have a pool at all lol -.- they had the inground one that was already there when we moved in, filled up with dirt!!

  • the fence doesn't work too well if you don't keep it locked... this is really sad :(

  • Shame on you if after watching this you still don't enclose your pool!

  • omg this is horrible lol

  • Always close gates to swimming pools even if you're only three feet away from it.

  • thats rite or the unthinkable may happen like this

  • Either that or watch your children closely/call someone to watch for you if you are doing work or something.

  • The mother and father are from England!
