  • It's pretty good but what's with the wobbly camera and 'strange looking at camera thing' at the start?

  • OMG!!!!! very well done but needs a bit more practice. but very good. ps to timfey my classes are only $15 each class and i bought a piano for $850.

  • I think your piano needs to be tuned... Because it sounds kinda weird. Maybe it's the sound from the video camera but other than that you did a pretty good job...

  • good for her age but I've seen better

  • I REALLY WANT TO LEARN PIANO,, BUT MY PARENTS NEVER SEND ME FOR PIANO CLASSE,, JUST LIKE TIMFEY :( SO SAD!!

  • What the hell? You guys (people below me) have no taste in music. Sure she's good for a 8 year old and what not. But if you think she's a genius, she is far from it. My ear's bleeding a little. Major mistakes all over the place. Kthxbai.

  • dang your good!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations girl. I have 14 years and play This track baddiest when you. :)

    Have a nice day,

    GramatYk. :)

  • u are so lucky , im 11 and my parents never send me for clases, they think it cause too much money and they dont even buy a piano for me , only thing i have is a keyboard

  • Dear timfey ...

I had the same problem ...

You can try out to ask in your school ,

wheather you can practise there piano

ore ask in a church .

Maybe they will help you .

    Good luck !!!

  • Maybe they did not know your desire? Is your keyboard full ranged one (88keys)? I started from a 4 octave keyboard that costs $5. If you want to get serious on it, the best would to ask for support from your parents. Otherwise there are some online courses that maybe helpful ... one of those I started was made by Lisa, for beginners :) I hope you find piano nearby for practice. Best wishes!

  • my keyboard have 5 octaves that cost $96.99

  • Hey this was uploaded on my 11th B-day. Yay! Anyways, great job! I played this when I was 11, but my hands were too small, so I have to relearn this in a while! 5/5 stars!

  • cute, but you need to release your shoulders!

  • my fingers are also too short i can just reach the octave but my palm touches the rest of the keys and those play as well :(

i am almost 16 so i dont think my fingers will grow much anymore :(

i LOVE your playing its so good!

    the best ive seen (:

  • Thank you very much for taking time to appreciate my video and leave those kind words here, inspiired!

  • Well done1 I liked this song. Please videotape it again when your fingers grow longer.

My dad has bought me a song from a music shop it is called "Underwater" I had practiced for 2 days until I came across to the 2nd page where you had to strech 9-10 keys and I couldn't do that. I don't think I would ever be able to do it so I gave up the song. That time I was 10 and a half my teacher tought me the song and she agreed with me to give it up.

  • Hi Elaine, thank you for sharing your learning story with us! I'll try to play it on our new piano. We'll have a small break late August. hopefully then. Big stretch is a problems for our hands, did you try to roll the chords over...it compromise the sounds a little but, it's just a compromise :D Have fun!

  • well done! :)

  • Angeni, this is amazing. I am enjoying your videos. Gaby and David(Dad)

  • Thank you very much for your comment, Gaby and David! She enjoyed it a lot when she was learning it.

  • hi

You are superb. I am 42 years old and started learning only a year back. Looking at you, i wish my parents had slapped me and sent me to class when I was young.. How long did it take you to learn this piece?

  • Thanks for your comments. I spent about four weeks to learn this pieces. I know it is still rough and would like to polish it later. By the way, my parents do not slap me, they pay for my piano lessons, and more importantly they support me constantly, be my audience at all times... I believe that if you really love to do it, you'll make it.

  • sorry. i didnt mean your parents slapped you. I refused to go to classes-preferred to play outside. SO i wish my parents did. I didn't say it correctly. Good luck.

  • No problem, ssjumbo2. Well, you did not start earlier, but now you enjoy it more and that can lead you much a better understanding to the music and better progress :) ... there are always good things too look for and to celebrate, aren't there? If you post your videos, I'll cheer for you!

  • you play it very well, but i think your fingers are a bit too short for the part with the octaves .)...but i like your version;)

  • I found that problem also :( ...thank you for watching and taking time to tell me how you think about it!

  • Pretty impressive! I have long fingers already and this piece is still difficult for me hahaha, amazing to see you play it so well. Keep up the good work!

  • this is probably the best version i've heard. (:

  • Thank you very much Bill for your words, and the stars :D -- Angeni

  • Wahooooooo ! :))))

    Merci beaucoup !

  • Hey again! Ooo... I like this piece too.

Just a word of advice, maybe the measures you play from :12-:18 need more contrast. Watch the sheet music and observe the dynamic markings. For the measures that I mentioned before, the first "statement" should be stronger while the second repeated statement should be more of an echo, i.e. softer.

Great job! Keep on practicing. ^^

  • oh my lanta :O

    very, very nice :]

  • I LOVE this piece!!! I started studying it but it's difficult for me :( and this is one of the best version ever heard. very lively! keep on! you're very very talented!!!

  • wow crazy good :)

  • Adoreable! And tremendously talented!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Duke

  • wow really nice!

  • TrueShinobi17, thank you foryour comment! -Angeni

  • wow thats amazing!! :O

  • The last page was a little too slow. It should be the same speed as your first page. The left hand is playing eighth notes and the right hand occasionally plays 16th notes, which are twice as fast as your right hand on the first page. But all in all, not bad, I'm not sure if it's the video, but it sounded like there were some mistakes. It might just be the sound of the video though.

  • Hi,

Your smile is so sweet and you play the piano with determination as it should be.

I know it can be frustrating at first, but

with patience and practice it can be done.

Your attitude is very positive. Keep it up!

    Enzo

  • Thanks Enzo! this one is so demanding for the spirit and I do feel inadequate at times. But I'll keep working on it for sure, --Angeni

  • Let me give you an incentive, because I think that you want to do ...

And the love of music, you will still want to work, this piece, which seems to me extremely difficult. Despite these few false notes, and even a small research techniques, I am sure that one day you offriras us a very good interpretation ...

    jacques de paris

  • It is so wonderful you can play such a demanding piece. It is a piece you will enjoy your whole life! Congratulations on your honors. The enthusiasm that your video has created is a gift to classical music! Keep it up!

  • Thank you Benita for watching my video and commenting on it! I was sort of expecting this:) I keep every word you said in mind. The feeling for learning this is so strong...I am addicted to the passion and have the urge to convey it! wish I could do a better job. Your comment is very encouraging.

  • You are so young. What you're doing is terrific!

  • Simply wonderful! Love to watch you play!

  • Great job Angeni! Bravo!!!!!!!

  • This is really fun Georges, giving encouragement, it also shows great sensitivity in your hand, it's very important to encourage a love for music.

    jacques de paris

  • congratulations! This must be challenging for your hands, but you did a very good job! well translated, at such a young age. You are well on your way to meet bigger challenges in your next year. Looking forward to your next one.

  • I know what you mean about feeling like you rushed into the piece. But I think you did a fine job, this is really nice, Angeni! :) No one will expect your technique to be professional. (Until you are a professional!) Keep it up, I can't wait to see what you do next. I love your smile at the end. :)

  • thank you very much Maya! those words bring you closer to me! - Angeni

  • 5 stars from me too !!

  • thank you antraciet, for all your stars! :-) - Angeni

  • 5 Star performance ;-)
