I had a customer once who was complaining a lot, I started to yell at him until I asked him where was his accent from? He told me he was Greek, I got happy and told him I'm Armenian. I gave him the product he was looking for, didn't charge him and became friends.

This movie reminds me of my own life in Anatolia. I was born in Eastern Anatolia to a Sephardi Jewish father and Greek Orthodox mother. We were expelled from our homelands when I was young.

I have read the history well. The Greeks and the Armenians butchered by the Turks were overwhelmingly innocent civilians. The Turk casualties were mostly military casulaties. The Greeks & Armenians were not angels, but they were weaker & more vulnerable. Maybe you should read history--and not by the Turks.

A very good and beautiful movie with great music of Hadjikas. It took me a long time to find a trace of this movie. Can't find the music on sale in record shops nor the DVD.
