No offense but you clearly have never seen someone who is ACTUALLY on steroids. That guy is healthy and very fit, if he were on roids. Then he would be 4x that size.

@SlipUp911 You'll have more flexibility form P90X than with a standard basic Gym Rat workout because you warmup and stretch the first 10 minutes of every weight workout and the last 5 minutes as well. It's so helpful, the whole before AND after stretch. And the stretch and yoga discs are SSOOO important. You'll love them. Yoga is a beast workout that is really going to help you build mass on your legs and give you an awesome cardio workout. And stretch makes you feel FANTASTIC.
I'm not going to sugar coat it for you killapanda, at your weight you won't be able to do much on p90x. But as The WWWDEATH said, if you put your mind to it you'll definitely see results.
I've been a physical trainer in the past and have trained guys (and gals) at your weight and above. It's going to be MUCH harder than somebody 100lbs lighter than you but if you have determination you could easily drop over 35lbs, healthily is the keyword here, in a single month with p90x.
By the time you complete p90x, full 90 days, you could be a huge 210-215lb'er. It all depends on your mental strength of putting in the hard effort into your workouts.
totally worth it im 14 year old and i got to say it changes your life ands its freaking amaing what you can do in 90 days no pain = no gain hurts but it worth it
@MusashiTheShinobi you're a moron. If the guy hadn't worked out a lot before, your body is going to respond really well and you'll gain muscle pretty pretty quickly. Combine that with great nutrition and body fat goes off pretty fast. With all do respect to OP as well, he doesn't look that big (the program isn't designed to get you huge either) so your just plain wrong on all accounts

i started last july and bye september i went from 300 to 220 and stalbed until this sept now im looking for my last 20 or 30lbs so i started to use wrist and ankle weights with my bands and i just use three bands two for the pull ups and one for my arms and i still wiht my wrist weights and these two weeks im already down to 215lb
this is my week 4, i've lost 12 pounds. but i dont get results like you after my first phase. i dont hav the pull-ups bar so i hav to stick wit the bands. is it as good?
I'm in the same shape as you. I've recently joined the Navy, and I have Navy boot camp in 4 months, then Marine boot camp in 14 months, and I really want to do the P90X work out, but I'm working a full time job in the A.M. then a part time job in the afternoon and I have no time, idk what to do. But this video definitely inspired me, I just don't want to give up the money :/ I'm 19 and I make $600/week. Decisions, decisions..
If you are going active I suggest losing the part time. Being in better shape for boot camp will help you tremendously. The money you are making now is good, but if you are not in shape they will smoke you when you are there.
I work 40 hrs a week and take care of my 2 year old, I have been able to make time. It's just one hour a day, you can do it. Good luck
How can anyone dislike this or any other P90x results video? I have been doing P90x for about 2 months now and I am ALREADY in the best shape of my life. I can't wait for the 90th day to roll around and I look like a Greek God. The only reason I can think of for someone disliking these videos is they are to lazy to do the excercises. If thats the case, then P90x is not for you. P90x requires commitment and self-discipline. Qualties alot more people in this world could use.
@vHybridHD dude p90x is all about gaining muscle, i mean even if you're skinny you have to have some body fat to lose and it will transform into muscle
@vHybridHD i've swam and played water polo my entire life so i was pretty skinny going in. Even in the first 30 or 40 days you'll notice a significant bulk up but you have to eat a lot if you want that. no "forgetting meals" like I sometimes do. I'm in the last 30 days and it really does work
Good results but you aren't going down near far enough on the pullups. If you don't lower yourself to a full extension then your muscles will only be stronger through the ROM you practice at and your ligaments won't be strengthening as much as your muscles which can ultimately lead to tears. The only way to truly count a pullup is with arms completely straight to chin above bar and back down. Anything less is cheating.
I weight too much to start this I think. I am 5'10 and at 245.2 pounds I am losing that weight gradually I really don't want to hurry it up. But I am going to get P90X Me and my fiance are going to get the stuff for it first then get the program. I just want to know what is the max weight you can be to start this program?
@axemanbiggz If you're an ectomorph I recommend only doing about 30-40 minutes of the videos and DO NOT do any of the cardio based workouts unless you wanna tone and get leaner.

@axemanbiggz Go to Twinmuscleworkout channel, they have lots of tips for skinny niggas like you and I lol. But only workout about 30-45 minutes of the videos. Also try to evade the cardiovascular videos, it won't do you any good if your main goal is to bulk up. I currently weight 130 and I'm 5'10 so I'm skinny as ****. But when I started about a year ago I weighted about 120 so that at least means something. Go to their channel, you'll learn alot.

Good job on what you've accomplished so far, keep it up. On "round 2", however, perhaps you should throw in an exercise for your glutes; your butt was looking kinda flat, imo. Not trying to be a hater or anything like that, only trying to help. Maybe your "caboose" just doesn't show up very well on camera or the shorts/sweats you wore camouflaged it, idk. Many people focus on the upper body workout, neglecting lower body...big mistake. google it, you'll see.

Anybody with this guys beginning physique could have gotten ripped by doing a small amount of cardio and marginal weight lifting. Hell, playing basketball and lifting light weights for 90 days will get you the results in this video. Pretty weak.

@wdommers if ur looking to buy less stuff and do a workout similar then go with insanity. but p90x will gain more mass.p90x needs dumbells and a pull up bar and i would definitely recommend push up bars.

I love how in a lot of these videos show like a "loser" on day one and a "douche" on day 90 with the backwards cap haha I say that in a good way though. I'm in my second week and I can't wait to walk around in a tank top every chance I get! This guy is my inspiration cuz I started out with the same body type

@brigs369 oh no gradually try and extend that 4 hours to six. maybe over a week or two. secondly if ur starving dont ignore it. jus have something really light. try one of those source low fat yogurts or something but try and avoid those 3 hours bed. if u eat 5+ small meals a day you wont get as hungry at night. you will also sleep better

I have a huge challenge infront of me, i drink a mickey to a 2/6 a day and smoke a pack of smokes a day, me and my roomate are droping all of that and we have purchased the p90x, we are super pumped to bring it and get results. the whole havine to drop all of that is the biggest challenge at the moment, but videos like this give a super high amount of motivation, thanks bro!

@LARGECOWMAN1 You use different muscles for either exercise so you can't compare how many push ups =~ pull ups. And by your logic that would be 65 push ups which is nothing. I can do 65 in less than 90 seconds.

Good results but you aren't going down near far enough on the pullups. If you don't lower yourself to a full extension then your muscles will only be stronger through the ROM you practice at and your ligaments won't be strengthening as much as your muscles which can ultimately lead to tears. The only way to truly count a pullup is with arms completely straight to chin above bar and back down. Anything less is cheating.

I weight too much to start this I think. I am 5'10 and at 245.2 pounds I am losing that weight gradually I really don't want to hurry it up. But I am going to get P90X Me and my fiance are going to get the stuff for it first then get the program. I just want to know what is the max weight you can be to start this program?

@axemanbiggz If you're an ectomorph I recommend only doing about 30-40 minutes of the videos and DO NOT do any of the cardio based workouts unless you wanna tone and get leaner.

@axemanbiggz Go to Twinmuscleworkout channel, they have lots of tips for skinny niggas like you and I lol. But only workout about 30-45 minutes of the videos. Also try to evade the cardiovascular videos, it won't do you any good if your main goal is to bulk up. I currently weight 130 and I'm 5'10 so I'm skinny as ****. But when I started about a year ago I weighted about 120 so that at least means something. Go to their channel, you'll learn alot.

I've always wanted to try this workout, and the 300 spartan workout, but as for what I will actually try will prolly be p90x since it has so many good results. Anyway congrats on your accomplishment! Def takes time and commitment which you followed. Great job!

Good job on what you've accomplished so far, keep it up. On "round 2", however, perhaps you should throw in an exercise for your glutes; your butt was looking kinda flat, imo. Not trying to be a hater or anything like that, only trying to help. Maybe your "caboose" just doesn't show up very well on camera or the shorts/sweats you wore camouflaged it, idk. Many people focus on the upper body workout, neglecting lower body...big mistake. google it, you'll see.

Anybody with this guys beginning physique could have gotten ripped by doing a small amount of cardio and marginal weight lifting. Hell, playing basketball and lifting light weights for 90 days will get you the results in this video. Pretty weak.

@wdommers if ur looking to buy less stuff and do a workout similar then go with insanity. but p90x will gain more mass.p90x needs dumbells and a pull up bar and i would definitely recommend push up bars.

Breakfast 6:30am- 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop whey protein powder gold standard, banana, TBSP Smucker's All Nat. PB.
Snack 9:15- Green apple
Another Snack- Cliff builder protein bar
Lunch 11:50- Whole wheat turkey wrap with vegies no mayo
3:00- Tuna salad whole grain wrap.....no mayo
Post workout: Whey protein shake, blended with banana, and 1% milk
Dinner- Whenever my mom makes it and what she makes (I'm 16)

@brigs369 oh no gradually try and extend that 4 hours to six. maybe over a week or two. secondly if ur starving dont ignore it. jus have something really light. try one of those source low fat yogurts or something but try and avoid those 3 hours bed. if u eat 5+ small meals a day you wont get as hungry at night. you will also sleep better

I have a huge challenge infront of me, i drink a mickey to a 2/6 a day and smoke a pack of smokes a day, me and my roomate are droping all of that and we have purchased the p90x, we are super pumped to bring it and get results. the whole havine to drop all of that is the biggest challenge at the moment, but videos like this give a super high amount of motivation, thanks bro!
