These silly men may not "claim" that they're endowed supernaturally, but they perform in school auditoriums full of malleable-minded children who could believe that, and watching this embarrassing spectacle in the 4th grade, I did believe that they were stronger and better BECAUSE they were Christians. Which is obviously the message they're implying, or else what would be the point of flaunting their Christianity with such bravado? indoctrination.
these guys perform in schools. so the kids can grow up with good values. these are the kinds of role models that will spark ambition in the children of today so they may become the leaders of tomorrow.

Parents complained and they had to issue formal apologies.

However, they're still fun for kids, and they spread a good message, so I'm not objecting ~_^

They're just using their strength and physical presence to but on an entertaining show and provide a platform to share what they believe if people want to listen. God meets people where they are (1 Corinthians 9:19-23). The Power Team is not about violence and destruction but presenting the gospel in a new way. A lot of people assume that church has to be an archaic ritual of repetition and tithing, when in fact it's an experience and a walk with the Lord. Seeing these guys brings back a lot of special memories for me. I can remember watching these guys with a friend from High School that was into Punk. We used to get high and watch these guys on the Trinity Broadcasting Network on Saturday Night.We'd be bouncing off the walls because it was so funny! I was shocked to realize that Xian Parents really took these guys seriously!
Haha, I hung out with a bunch of these guys for the majority of a week and they a bunch of really cool, level headed, smart guys. And, yes, tons of teenagers enjoy watching stuff like this, it's entertaining.

Seeing these guys brings back a lot of special memories for me. I can remember watching these guys with a friend from High School that was into Punk. We used to get high and watch these guys on the Trinity Broadcasting Network on Saturday Night.We'd be bouncing off the walls because it was so funny! Haha, I hung out with a bunch of these guys for the majority of a week and they a bunch of really cool, level headed, smart guys. And I think that the whole breaking bats, smashing bricks, and running through ice thing is more to get the kids to pay attention to what they say afterwards. And, yes, tons of teenagers enjoy watching stuff like this, it's entertaining.

They came to my school and I didnt think they did one thing out of place, sure theyre a christian group, sure they hold more performances at churchs, christians can have good things to say and I didnt hear one word that "promoted church in public school."
