  • Most of the shows from the late 60's don't hold up well for me but this show is still really funny. Great writing.

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! thanks for the upload it used to come on at 11pm never missed a show

  • You know what i hate about every sitcom ever........the laugh track. It's kind of insulting like we the viewing auidence don't know when we're supposed to laugh so we have that annoying laugh track to help us out. Like we're stupid or something. Plus they never have laugh tracks in movies.

  • Get Smart Vs Police Squad which show was better/funnier?

  • Great show and great channel...Brought back many memories for me.

  • A time a place long ago and far away...gawd the hours I blew watching TV.

I can only imagine what would be left of my brain with internet, mp-3s, pandora, 500 channels, youtube, wi-fi, 4s and a monkee up me arse....

  • Smart using his 'shoe phone' No one in those days dreamed we'd be using such things these days....mobile phones...............I mean ")

  • Doctor No in the book had a somewhat simlure claw.

  • The movie sucked. You can't recapture magic like the original tv series, it was of its time. Don Adams and Barbara Feldon can't be replaced with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway.

  • Some of my happiest memories where from when I was, like, six or seven years old. Watching this in my mom's house. I so wanted to be in love with a girl like Agent 99. Anyone else?

  • i love get smart its so funny

  • XD 3:18 The Chief just wants to keep the pictures to himself.

  • Don Adams, the only and one Get Smart!!! Peter Sellers, the only and one Pink Panther!!!

  • 24's lighter days

  • the movie is great but the series are funnier

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! :') <3

  • 30年ぶりに見ました。感激!!大好きだったのでうれしー

  • steve carell cant hold a candle to Don Adams. The old is better, in my opinion. My brother used to love the ending when his nose got caught in the door. :)

  • @bossyboots55 Amen, the film was RUBBISH. Carell and Hathaway were terrible. I've only seen 20 minutes of the film, because i felt so empty watching Carell trying to capture the Don Adams(may he rest in peace) - Maxwell Smart charcter i almost cried. It was THAT bad. And, Hathatwat.......UGH i couldn't even breathe watching her portraying (trying to) Agent 99.

  • Lol @ them saying "Orientals" instead of "Asians"

  • @JAThames That's because Oriental is correct. Asian means anyone from Turkey to Russia.

  • @JAThames My wife is from Japan and she prefers being called Oriental. She thinks you politically correct lemmings are full of government shit.

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Why don't you calm down? I never said I prefer one over the other; don't assume things about people, jackass.

  • @JAThames Sure you did. You even laughed at the very idea of using the name "Orientals", as though you are programmed to be a media induced, politically correct sheep. The very though of referring to them as anything but "Asian", in your mind, was giddy. Turn off your television and think for yourself for once.

  • He's going to walk on a pill that'll explode if it's thrown at a wall? He'd better not run!

  • waterproof microphone... sure...

  • Max: can i see nuber 4 again? xD

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    charlesthepoet2003

    THANKS.

  • Another Classic T.V. Series of the GoldenAge of the 60's

  • Stupid weekly test thing. What I don't understand about those is, DO THEY REALLY HAVE TO MUTE THE SOUND JUST FOR WORDS ON THE TOP OF THE SCREEN?

  • Didn't know that it was a serie. And a fun one too :D!

  • i use to catch this on nick at nite. the shows on nick at nite nowa days aint even old

  • Hey look..it's "Happy Kind" of Happy Kind and the Mirth makers from Fernwood Tonite

  • Really? I can't escape the weekly required test of the emergency broadcast system even on youtube?

  • @SamhainTheDark

Your comment just made my night. Thank you. :D

  • 99 minutes alone with 99 is all i wanted as a kid watching this show, lol

  • Was this the episode with the villain named Mr. Claw or Craw? It kinda looks like it. Neat and funny video!

  • I was watching the movie last night, so i thought i'd watch this...lol it seems really funny and stuff..ps I LIKE YOUR YOUTUBE USERNAME :)

  • @HelloImJoPo The show is about a billion times better than the movie.

  • @channyandseddiefan So I hear! The show seems pretty funny.

  • Now I understand Toto's song, "Ninety Nine."

  • USED TO LOVE THIS SHOW.. AINT SEEN IT FOR ABOUT 2 DECADES :>

  • @wholish I know what you mean. I grew up watching this show when I was a kid. But it was in syndication by the time I was watching it in the 70's. I still loved it anyway!

  • the canned laughter makes this show absolutely unwatchable

    1/10

  • @LMTR14 Just this show? In the 60s and 70s all comedy came with a laugh track. To have one without the other would be like having water without having wet.

  • what has happened to television.........(b1982). I love the cigarette nostalgia. And the Denver weather watch. a moment in time!

  • what has happened to television.........(b1982)

  • poor fish............................... T_T

  • We're doing this exact episode for the high school play at school! Except it's edited so that Ingrid doesn't exactly know Max as well as she does here. But it's sooooo fun!

  • Thanks dude, but your cable company sucks. Oh, and search around for some funny bloopers w/ Adams and Don Rickles AND a funny bit Adams did at his 80th b-day.

  • It doesn't get any better than this. Why don't they make shows like this anymore. Nostalgia just hit me with a bang.

  • Why didn't the water from the fish tank make the bug inoperable?

  • Lol Ingrid is so fucking horny.

  • 99 is far more dishy and super sexy than Ingrid the blond

  • Sadly enough, they don't make TV shows like this anymore

  • Looks like the old Motorola Brick.

  • i had no idea this was a tv show lol

  • The CLAW

  • *rolls eyes* "She must have been some fifteen-year-old!" haha love her.

  • Weekly Test thing ftl

  • Get Smart pioneered the 'Cellular Phone' with that shoe version lol. that was really thinking ahead! not to mention 'The Claw' was used also as the idea behind 'Dr. Claw' from Inspector Gadget, another character voiced by Adams.

  • @80stvfan09 Actually, Dr. Claw was voiced by Don Francks and for the most part, Frank Welker.

  • @CommanderLightning Voiced by yes, but the idea of the name for the villian came from this show. this was like the original Inspector Gadget, sans the Gadget part

  • @CommanderLightning i was also referring to Adams speaking for Gadget, not Claw

  • @80stvfan09 And C.H.A.O.S. renamed itself to M.A.D.

  • The beginning is hilarious.

  • Boy things have changed since the '60's! Notice they used the term "Oriental". If they did that today you know there'd be people yelling "Racist!"

  • Not the craw ! The CRAW !

  • Sunbeam Tiger , Roots Group England

Dialed in by Carroll Shelby (Cobra)

The Dist rights were purchased by Chrysler, one day they realized it had a ford 260- 289 ci and the Comet drive train. They had to shut down sales.

    Somebody made a boo boo.

  • max do you know what this larger one is for? larger rooms. any questions? how do i get them to take it. funny stuff

  • Does anyone else think that the Chief (Edward Platt) looks like Lorne Greene?

  • I guess you don't recognize that it is a studio audience. One of Don Adams's biggest gripes with the show was the canned laughter. I'd like to see you do better, this show is a classic.

  • They're laughing because they think they're supposed to laugh. When people see a Shakespeare comedy they laugh because they think it's a requirement not because the show is actually funny.

I don't make money from writing scripts so "I'd like to see you do better" is a bit pointless.

  • So, what, in your mind, do you see as funny? Something tells me you're one of those people who don't like anything made before the date of your birth, which probably isn't far off.

I'm not saying you should submit a script to some major television station. I'm just saying, if you're so high and mighty about this show being "crap", why don't you actually make a video and show us how funny YOU are?

  • omg i love get smart its awesome

    they stopped playing it, though!

im so mad! i want to get the collection of dvds

  • I liked his Red MG when I was young

  • It was a Sunbeam Tiger, not an MG.

  • Why did that device in the flowers still work after it was put in water?

  • Max thinks the fourth one is hot.

  • it's so funny when he burns the paper

  • i like it at 0:58 hahahhaha

  • The watoozie. Lol. I wonder if anyone remembers that dance?

  • i like this show but do they even show it anymore i can't find it

  • Mel Brooks comedy has its place. Sometimes funny sometimes not. Always poking fun during the time of relevance.

  • Notice how in the opening, the stairs lead out of an elavator XD

  • This beats the new "Get Smart" by a long shot.

  • Exactly, the fans of the old, real get smart, like me, were sorely disappointed in the new movie. They blew so many good opportunities. If it had been called "Get Steve Carell" it woulda been fine.

  • it's so stupid it's funny

  • Don Adams provided the voice for Inspector Gadget in the cartoon series - but this beats Inspector Gadget by a country mile. This is much better.

  • true true.... but you have to admit that inspector gadget had a freaking catchy theme song

  • Don Adams also did the voice characterization in the Inspector Gadget cartoon series......................but I like this much better.

  • Idiot! Take it in the context it was meant! It is called humour!

  • nah its not humor, its stereotyping. Television back in the day and even now is mad racist against Asian Americans. Every time an Asian American is depicted on screen they always have to have an accent, dressed in cultural clothes or be some sly sneaky person. Its time we see an Asian American male in the lead role of a television series. Yea this is just meant to be harmless but its just one of the many examples of Asian American stereotyping being disregarded by the American public.

  • it isnt gonna kill u

  • Who composed the original theme song of "Get Smart?" Was it Bobby Morganstein? I tried finding the original song on iTunes, but I couldn't figure out the artist.

  • so did i. Type in original get smart music.

  • i used to love this show when i was a kid.. i really miss it i wish they never took it off the air last time i seen it was about 2 yrs ago. also i thought the movie was good too.

  • "Well, 99 - you're a woman, aren't you?" Nice absurd line that didn't get a laugh but for some reason I found really funny.

  • let me guess you live in colorado?

  • I thought the movie was great. One of the better adaptations of a 60's sitcom to a modern day movie and one of my favorite comedies of the year. And I was a BIG fan of the original series. They did a great job.

  • I've been away from the planet, for a few decades, but I'm glad they finally found a star vehichle for Don Adams.

  • I sincerely miss this show...anyone know where I can DL the show? a torrent maybe?

  • You can buy the 1st season at barnes and noble, but I don't know where you would download it...

  • Max is the best! He's so clumsy and I love his shoe phone!

  • 99 is smoking hot

  • Not as hot as Anne Hathaway!

  • @acme4 i agree

  • @acme4 dude later on theres a old movie as get smart and 99 is crap

  • how do they have good equipment in 19 hundreds

  • @raeraeag They're fictional props. Yikes; some people.

  • wow! i havent seen these since i was 12 yrs old thanks

  • I'm looking for;

Get Smart, The Girls from KAOS

  • 99 is hot damn

  • 99 is a fox!! OOWWEEEE!

  • 99 looks soo fricken jelous in a funny way

    lol

  • i've seen the movie 3 times and i just got the pill joke haha

  • The pill joke was told in a more depressing way in the movie

  • Now Max...Do you know what the larger pill is for?

    Max:Larger rooms...

I don't know why but that joke really gets me.lohahaha!

  • I enjoyed the film enough. I have never seen the actual television show till now. Thanks to everyone who is posting the episodes from the show. It'll help me to decide whether or not I'll go out and purchase the first season.

I thought Steve Carell was a great choice. I just thought the story could've used a little more work. I'm hoping they'll make a sequel because I want to give the film another chance. What does everyone else think?

  • The Pill joke was included in the moive.

    It was a good movie.

Mel Brooks is a great man.

  • damn i dont remember it could you tell me in which part of the movie?

  • can some one explain the how do i get them to take it joke plz

  • i dont like when it goes quiet

  • i love this show

  • Damn that required weekly test!

  • I thougt Don Adams was the voice of that penguin who had the sidekick Chumley. Tennesee Tuxedo I think.

  • That's correct.

  • love this

  • They deliver the "poison pill" line so much better in this then they did in the movie..in my opinion.

  • Um...yes Don Adams was the voice of Inspector Gadget until Maurice LeMarche (Brain from Pinky and The Brain) took over.

  • RIP Don Adams (Maxwell Smart and Inspector Gadget).

  • Don Adams voiced Inspector Gadget the entire run of the cartoon series.

  • yes he was

  • And Tennesee Tuxedo. Can't forget that one.

  • which one is Masi Oka playing at 4:43 , guy on the left or the middle

  • 33 hours to get smart and 30 days to dark knight, man can the movie viewing get any better

  • ever wondered if you had everything from 1:30 to 2:00 i would want a phone booth like that that sucks me in to mysecret lab

  • It was purely a spoof of Cold War politics.

  • I love his catch phrases "Sorry about that Cheif", or "Missed it by that much". who else would be calling on your shoe.

  • i watched this show for the theme song

  • I can't believe how politically incorrect it was back then. "There are Orientals there."

I love the show, I just hope noone gets offended with it.

  • How often he whips out a cigarette indoors is also amusing.

  • actually - this entire show is an example of satire - it's SUPPOSED to be politically incorrect. It was incorrect back then - that's where the humour comes from....

  • 4:52 almost made me cry. This show is hilarious.

  • At 7:02. "She must have been some 15 year old". Yeah, just like my neighbor's daughter.

  • i love get smart!! i hope the movie they're making doesn't ruin it, though. thank you so much for putting an entire episode on(even in 2 parts). i'm gonna watch the 2nd half now!

  • This was the first color episode that aired after the black & white pilot the week before [September 25, 1965]; also the introduction of "The Claw", Max's occasional "Oriental" KAOS nemesis {"Not 'Craw'! Claw! CLAW!!!"}. By the way, Ed Platt was already considered a regular during the first season. They didn't give him "up front" billing in the opening title until season two...

  • lol can i see number 4 again LOl

  • This is my favorite episode out of all of Season 1

  • Ah, the days when you boss could threaten you with violence and didn't worry about facing a lawsuit.

Funny that Edward Platt wasn't given billing in the opening show. Suggests that perhaps they were still on the fence about making him a regular character.

  • how about actually putting the entire episode

  • could i see number 4 again :)

  • lol, yes chief, how do I get them to take it :)

  • i dont get that jioke plz explain

  • the pill is meant for him to take to kill himself so that he can't say any secrets, but he thinks its meant to kill the enemies so he can escape

  • -In the last ten days, eight blonds have been abducted in Washington from this area. What do you make of it?

-Well, it's either a conspiracy, or some guy's got a pretty weird hobby.

    LOL I just love that!

  • thanks for posting these materials , god bless you whoever you are

  • Damn you weekly tests you've made it so I cant hear T.V. shows for the last time!

  • Hey cousin!, isn't our grandma awesome. Love her!

  • the scandanavian princess Inger is my Grandma! this is crazy!

  • seriously?

  • yeah isn't that awesome?! I remember her showing me this episode when i was really small, and now its as trip to see it on youtube hahah

  • I don't usually say this, but - your Grandma is hot!

  • I have to agree.

  • Thanks sooo much for uploading these videos! It would be wonderful if more could be added! I love the 60's fashion outfits!

  • pfft... they stopped showing it on TV Land...

  • that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
