Precision, strength, speed, consistency and intelligence... just the Federer that has been making us dream for more than a decade... those sparks of genius, those rare moments that no one could ever expect to be even possible are what makes him the best player of all time... and I'm happy to have lived in these times... just creating History...
@ForeverMan91 - thats what everyone said with sampras and look what happened, he was even more written off than Fed to win a slam back then, then he went and won the USO, if Fed plays like he did at the WTF's last year or RG this year he has every chance to win another no doubt, he is still the 2nd/3rd favourite to win every slam so clearly you have no clue about tennis.
No clue about tennis? let's examine the comparison. At that time (2001) when Pete won the Us Open, he was still chip and charging, serving and volleying, aggressively playing and serving at his peak.
Federer on the other hand is trying to get into baseline tangles with guys way out of his league now, his backhand is atrocious, and he panics under pressure. He won't even make another GS final you idiot.
@ForeverMan91 - lol u fkin idiot, did u not see the match against Djokovic at the French and at the USO, he was beating djokovic from the baseline and outclassed him at RG, was dominating him for the first two sets before his game dramatically dropped but obviously should have won in the end, Djokovic got incredibly lucky, this means he can 'tangle' with the best player in the world from the baseline, his backhand is hardly atrocious, by the way sampras didn't win USO in 2001
@TJFederer15 typo, 2000, not 2001. regardless, Djoko has absolutely dominated Fed in now what has been over a year. Don't even for a second claim that he has anything left in his tank to compete with these guys. If anyone is lucky, it is Fed for squeezing through easy draws and having opponents roll over for him. Go home Fed. And yes, his backhand is awful. Guy frames and shanks more backhands on crucial points than anyone else. Put a second hand on that thing. He really sucks.
Its pretty funny that a 30 year old who is apparently way past his prime can dominate a prime Djokovic on not even his favorite surface at the French, that says it all full stop. Also even if somehow Roger doesn't win another slam from now on, it doesn't even matter, he's consolidated himself as the greatest and his records are incomparable, i don't care what you think, i still believe the greatest has possibly more than one slam left in him for sure.
@TJFederer15 this is Why I love Federer. I still can't believe he can be this amazing after a couple years from his best. He should be no 2 if not no 1. he did better than Nadal against Djokovic, Djokovic had pure luck. Not dissing Nadal, they both are my favorite of the modern era!!
@ForeverMan91 man you suck. he has the best form than anyone in his game. did you even watch the USO game? obviously you didn't. Federer was winning first 2 sets. he had 3 match points at 5-3. don't tell me he doesn't have anymore game left in him anymore. he also beat Djokovic in RG. He is also the only person to beat DJokovic this year.
@ForeverMan91 you shut up, you fucking idiot, let see if he wins a grandslam or not, he is a favourite, not saying he may win but he is a favourite, so just shut the hell up
did u guys notice that in the end of the vid, like 2 min left, it only shows him wearing red and blue shirts. Why is that? Maybe cause the pics are from the same match?
i hate the argument nadal fans use against federer that because he has a better head to head than nadal is best of all time. So if davydenko has a better head to head than is he better than nadal? What about Murray having better head to head against federer even though he can't win a single match against fed in a grand slam? if that is the logic than Dominik Hrbaty is best of all time since he has a better head to head against federer and nadal. See how stupid some people are?
@OcelotDAD Federer is a month away from 30; Nadal is 25. Nadal reached his peak when Federer was already tapering off. That is why Federer won the first two Wimbledons they played, but hasn't been successful since. He's not getting any younger. Had Federer been Djokovic's age, he would have been kicking Nadal's ass just like the Djoker has been doing this year. Federer is the much better player overall.
@OcelotDAD So stupid coment. If Nadal will win 17 GS and 6 master cup and will be world number one 300 weeks than will be better than Federer, but it never happends. Nadal is just formal clay master.
@incredibleXMan yeah, if he would have gotten that break point in the second set against del potro then he would have beaten him in straight sets instead of losing in five sets.
@incredibleXMan del potro was simply better and deserved it. federer can't win everything. to me, it's more irritating that del potro can't really stick to his performances back then. he is absolute no.1 player material.
@incredibleXMan True that one REALLY got away, plus chances to make the finals @ US open in 2010-11 , lost to novak with 2 match points in each match, but thats how it is i guess
@afsaldurranihotmail I mean Del potro did play very well but federer was demolishing him at times and should of won in 4 sets. The way Federer went away in the last set was a bit worrying. He went away in similar circumstances against Nadal at the AO in the same year.
@incredibleXMan yeah he did same in aus open i guess it is age he is nt in his peak anymore so that consistency is nt dere bt watever d thing is he should hv won against djoko in us open 2011 that was unbelievable most disappointing im still disappointed with that loss....
Nice vid! Thumbs up.
