Dancers are always critical of their own performances. As a fellow dancer I can tell you that it was perfect. Not only are you technically accurate in your movements but you can tell that the dance comes from within you. You are the dancer who sings the song not with her voice but with her movements. Very lovely indeed~

I thought some of the hand & hip movements were beautifully choreographed and performed. There were a few less thrilling moments--the scolding act at 3:15 and sequence following it could probably be improved to look less silly. But for the most part, really dramatic and beautiful!

I don't particularly like this video.

1. Your hips are not right for the swingyness that was choreographed.

2. Your skirt is too short for it to fit the culture

3.There's only one person, and it would be better with atleast one more person dancing with you.

4. Where is this? A High School Talent Show?! With the Choreography, it seems like it... it's very amateur...

5. You repeat your moves too much in the dance.

6. Your face gets a little too close to the floor.

I think you are probably a good dance.

But I didn't like it. You tried and (IMO) failed to add elements of different dance styles. You would've done better, I think, to just stick to Indian/ belly-dance moves. Also 1:34 was so OUT OF PLACE with that routine. You're assuming people know what the lyrics are but we dont.

Also, at 1:51 that leg kicking thing looks ungraceful compared to how you started. You looked great. I just think the choreo sucked & was poor. I look forward to watching u more.

They usually come with the entire outfit but you can buy them individually from certain shops depending on where you live, if you have any ethnic areas around you be sure to check them out. If you've got any indian friends you could borrow one.
