Funny to see most people play a different strategy from mine. I tend to throw up half a circle of infantry with archers and catapults inside it and a unit of cav behind it. I never really use crossbows because they lack the fire arrows(great effects on morale> chace down with cav). At the bridge i usually put the cricle right at the mouth , so that the enemy props up at the bridge and get hit more often by archers. When my infantry starts to break at the front i move the side to the front.

I disagree with your strategy here. I would place stakes in the ground around the bridge exit and use spear men to hold the enemy in a compacted group on the bridge. While they try and break through you can use archers, catapults and other artillery to wipe out the bulk of the enemy before they ever leave the bridge. Mass panic follows and as the enemy starts to rout you can dispatch the calvary to take out the remaining forces supported by a strong infantry charge. I don't lose as many troops.
