  • Kedves Annie, akkor kezdjük el az esti műszakot :)

  • Love this show.

  • I personally hate the idea that Piper accepted this role.

  • My brother once began singing this song. Either he needs to get out of my room while I'm watching Covert Affairs or he needs to start watching it. Haven't decided which yet. :/

  • he's trying to piss u off. Put a "beware of the dawg" sign on the door.

  • This has got the be the worst opening credits for a tv show EVER

  • @BluPantaloni Really? I think it's one of the better and more original ones out there.

  • @nebbie13 Good for you I guess... Personally I think it's terrible.

  • @BluPantaloni I actually like it. Sure it doesn't say much about the series but it shows the delicate work of the spy world.

  • at the most significant level of choice...

  • So buy this sorry ass network and help them help themselves get their self respect back and maybe then economics 101 to ensure my fuckin paper and your bonds are worth something because these shameful and profiteering fucks, using social perversion to hold back and actually strengthen and compound our upcoming adjustments, do not give a fuck about what happens to my collective economy when forced to choose between their personal estates and doing what is right if this is what happens at...

  • @TheHeardHouse tl;dr

  • perception of competence and integrity on behalf of the American people that pay them for their proud service so once again how far will you go for your country because in fuckin China HU I would not have walked away and your security services should be "relatively" proud for being better than the most sadistic pile of shit on the face of the Earth Hu...

  • utterly obliterated for no reason what so ever...

Cause these shameful and cowardly pieces of shit calling themselves American are proud that the bravest thing they ever was become the lowest form of life history has ever seen as they become empowered to battle an innocent citizen that may have been the very first behind a line of many that made it to a point to call them out for the proud and brave men and women they always were as the only means my security services have to preserve their.

  • ...surface level President utterly collapsed a way of life by using his collective load of DOD CI cowards as the most perverted weapon man kind has ever seen that went far beyond collapsing human rights to increase security by the very smallest percent but actually collapsed a democracy for his criminal defense so this dirty load of cowardly fucks screwed into the most humiliating positions anyone has ever seen and handled worse than any whore can be used as the thinnest layer...

  • Cause it just occurred to me that your nation of over one billion people may have one bad guy to legitimize your dictatorship because in this sickening nut house perversion called America, plagued with 30,000 ordinary gun homicides every year, we collapsed all meaning of human rights, rule of law, the Geneva convention, and democracy itself and not even to add the smallest measure of security -from what is already the very very lowest threat to the way I live my life-to this germ free..

  • Hu,

But how far is this frightened load of pathetic DOD CI's willing to go so my military ruler can feel secure enough saying the TROOPS!! defend freedom again collapsing society and democracy to achieve ends that go well beyond yours with the military ability to sicken anyone into submission...

I will never forget the poor one they profiled to ask me back to her place after 15 minutes but it was more about having respect for myself then her that made he chose 14.95 with Comcast digital....

  • I'm getting a serious "Fistful of Dollars" vibe from the music. Perhaps it's because the two share a common descending d minor I chord (0:05-0:08). The same chord can be heard near the end of the opening intro to "Dollars." Then again, the ending credits of "Bones" starts with this broken chord as well, save for the fact that it's an octave up and much faster. Lol, apologies for the musical musings :P

  • woah woah WOAH. Where did Jai go!?!?!? He's the sexiest guy on this show! Why did i not see his face????

  • @Fluteplayingbandgeek This was the first season opening... they finally added Jai and Annie's sister in the second season! I was happy when I saw that! :)

  • The intro to the song sounds realllyyyy similar to another song. I can't put my finger on it and it's annoying me. :( Just the bit before she starts singing.

  • I <3 Covert Affairs

Thumbs up if you LOVE Auggie Anderson (christopher gorham)

  • Because of the name of the band, and the genre of the show, it reminds me of the song 'Underneath the mango tree' from Dr.No (the very first Bond movie)

"Mango, banana, and tangerine, sugar and ackee, and cocoa bean".

Yes, I know it's random :) damn that song makes me want a smoothie, brb.

  • The Credits remind me of James Bond...in a GOOD WAY :) awesome show

  • where can i find this song!! its not on itunes :-(

  • @AussieMutant Look for "Can You Save Me" by Power. It is there as of this posting.

  • season premiere tonight im so excited!!!!!

  • Peter Gallagher should be in them, the show's site treats him like a member of the cast.

  • @Mprator

I'm thinking it has to to with a contract or something because truthfully he should be in the credits. He's just listed as a guest star, but he's in every episode I think. Either way, Peter Gallagher should definitely be part of the credits, a permanent part.

  • I love this show way too much! =)

  • @theykilledthemusic I agree. As much as i should be embarassed to admit it, i fell in love with her when i took my dad to see "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle" (He's a huge R & B fan.) Piper absolutely stole the show. I've been rooting for her to finally get a project entirely her own to carry for a long time, now!

  • reminds me of alias!?!!!

  • Awesome Show :-)

  • I love Auggie!

  • I don't get why Peter Gallagher as Arthur Campbell wasn't included? He was a main character really...

  • @bumpertrucks

I so agree. He is a big name and his charackter was nearly as often on the show as Joan's

  • @fgb1 I wonder whether it's a contract thing in case he wants to leave suddenly?

  • @bumpertrucks

might be. this kind of things beat me, but it obviously was a waste not to name him as a main character

  • The Song sounds like Hung Up By Madonna lol

  • this is a very clever copy of ennio morricone "for a few dollars more" main theme.only the crappy rap is of thier own.the whistle also is copied fron morricone s music with modifications , more clear copy can be of a indian movie song (fida - nazar nazar) tone to tone copied what a shame!!!!!!

  • @talkpremjit I kind of get the feeling that's the point.

  • i love the song they used for the intro. apple trees and tangerines, i have no idea who you are, but your song is awesome :)

  • very cool show, hope theres a second season

  • Kari Matchett FTW! SOOOO SEXY!

  • Loved this theme music it reminds me of the type of things that Henry Mancini would do

  • Check out my piano rendition of this theme!

  • Heh, I love this theme. Reminds me of something you'd hear on a Bond movie. And no, I don't mean stolen/rehashed/ripoff/whatever, I just mean it's got that same kind of "man (or woman in this case :P) of mystery", espionage, spy thriller kind of feel. USA has had some pretty good themes for their original shows, and this is no exception.

  • I LOVE IT SO MUCH!this is a weird question.... r her pants leather? probably not lol? :P?

  • I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!! this is a weird question.... r her pants leather? probably not lol? :P?

  • I actually like these opening credits a lot. And that song is so catchy that's it's going directly into my iPod.

  • If anyone thinks Alias, Chuck or Josh 2.0 were anything close to original then give yourself an F, look in the mirror and say "I'm an idiot." Better yet, try watching something made prior to 1980. From the music, to the opening credits, to the plots....this is ALL retro (there's are at least a dozen TV shows made in the 60's with similar titles and themes). And really, someone really thought Chuck and Josh 2.0 were original? Really? I'm 15 and smarter than that.

  • @Ramubay Wow, you're really angry. I'm not saying that this show, Jake 2.0, Nakita, etc. are original... no one said that. I was only making modern day comparisons to previously re-hashed plots that others had brought up on this posting. And instead of yelling at everyone maybe you should have given examples of those shows you know SO much about. The Avengers (1960s), Get Smart (1965-ish), etc. Oh, and don't worry about the age thing... we can tell you're just a kid due to your little 'fit.'

  • @SamanthaMT Can you mention shows any more obvious? You're too green for this conversation. Google spy/detective shows/films (plenty of fansites) and follow through on You Tube for opening credits. Peter Gunn, Honey West, The Protectors, Randall and Hopkirk, Secret Agent (Danger Man), even Wild Wild West. I'll let you do the films, but these nothing here is new. These are guys going back to the vaults and re-doing the old shows. Then go back to the various 40's film series.

  • @Ramubay You're a cool fifteen year old. Assuming that hasn't changed in seven months....in which case, you're a cool sixteen year old.

  • @willkillyoulast I'm 15 years 11 months, so close. Someone got me interested in the Emma Peel DVD's of The Avengers when I was about 12 and the same company released a lot of British 60's spy shows so I ended getting hooked on all seasons of The Avengers, Secret Agent, The Prisoner, The Protectors, etc... and stuff like UFO and Space 1999 all of which have that look. That led to seeing American stuff like Honey West, Man from U.N.C.L.E., etc... I think those are the coolest shows ever made.

  • @Ramubay That's pretty cool. I've heard of very few of them, seen even fewer, and yet I know enough to know they're pretty much the epitome of spy/espionage TV/movie drama. I'm less into espionage than I am straight-up action, so The Bionic Woman (the original series, not the new one) and Renegade are pretty mcuh as 'vintage' as I get with TV shows. Though I do love Alias, I think it managed to be somewhat respectable while being 'modern' for it's time.

  • @Ramubay , writing Jake 2.0 wrong and pretending you don't know the name exactly makes you an idiot. But hey,you shouldn't be mad,you fucking already know that.

  • @AndreasNewYorker No, all it shows is that I'm not as obsessed with the show like you are. I have better things to do; apparently you don't. The show is not worth that much of my attention. More importantly, I wonder how you are able to function only knowing about things that occurred from 2003 on. Let's face it, if you had a better grasp you wouldn't have made your comments. You're setting yourself up as a bit of a joke to think Joke 2.0, Jack 2.0 or Jake 2.0 (who cares?) was original.

  • i think this is the best show on tv :) unlike crap like rizzoli and isles and hawthorne(both on tnt) thumbs up if yu agree.

  • When I first saw these credits on the show I was like WTF they look cheap and nasty and not in keeping with the tone of the show at all. However, it's grown on me, well at least the song has, I now kinda like them.

  • This song is just annoyingly catchy. I had it i in my head for nearly 2 days after watching the last episode.

And I'm wondering when they're gonna get Robert Plant to provide a song for the show considering they've used all Led Zeppelin songs for the episode titles. lol

  • love IT

  • the best part is the motorbike

  • Some people are naturally going to make comparisons to ALIAS...and rightfully so (I've noticed some blatant parallels). I don't think it is unfair, because audiences are hungry for something completely original. Can you blame them? Nevertheless, Covert Affairs is some good spy fun on a Tuesday night. Yeah, it can be a bit too campy for me at times, but I have to admit, it has grown on me a little. :)

  • This show is awesome!! and one of my faves

  • Check out my piano rendition of the theme!

  • reminds me of the opening credits to Fox's Standoff. I wonder if the same director made this.

  • I would wreck Kari Matchet

  • I love the opening.

  • USA network makes the best television shows. I love this show xD

    The opening theme is awesome~

  • I love Auggie, he's the main reason I watch the show, he's amazing! And the opening credits are just plain awesome, best I've ever seen, <3.

  • This is the best intro I've EVER seen!

  • hey!!!! tats the guy who played Jake 2.0 wasnt it???

  • this is one of my favorite opening themes

idk, i just love all the symbolism, the music is cool, it all really fits... and it's short and simple and just... cool!

  • Love this show...

  • i love this song!!!!!

  • omfg Piper Perabo somebody pinch me

  • Check out my rendition of covert affairs on piano!

  • does anybody else see similarities with mad men's opening credits?

  • Can someone explain to me how the credits of Chuck and Covert Affairs are the same? I have seen the Chuck one and I don't see ANY similarities (except for the "cartoony" parts but what show HASN'T done a cartoonish intro?

  • Last time I checked, it was the story and actors that made a show great, not the intro sequence. And it's not too bad in it's own way, odd, but still well made.

  • This show is ABSOLUTELY amazing.

And I actually like the intro.I LOVE black and white, and the cartoon feel is pretty cool.

  • Oh my god.... oh... my fucking god. My buddy just linked me to this as an example of the shittiest intro on TV, and he is dead on.

It's like they hired the Chuck intro creators but told them they only had $50 to spend.

  • @dkkicks wow ur retarded. can i shoot u? i mean its the same thing as u taking a bullet to the head, right?

  • These credits are awful. Looks like they spent $20 on them.

  • @GuanoLad you mad

  • I like the credits. They're kinda cool with the cartoon backround.

  • has any1 notice Auggie,Annie, and Joan are the only characters in the credits

  • @per4mer4life

Actually, Ben is in the credits. He's the black car thats always following her.

  • @NihilistKittenArmada And I think that the black shadow (or guy?) she is dancing with is Jai wilcox. The only one (from the main cast) who is actually not there is her sister

  • @LoveTruelyGSR it's like e-Surance huh

  • I REALLY love this show, but I think they could have done a better job with the opening credits

  • I don't like the opening that much. It looks cheap.

  • I love the opening credit!!

  • I want Alias back! Credits Suck... Chris Gorham looks retarded in it. I see, but I can't see. He needs bionic eyes or something soon. I'm gonna bail if not.

  • @Travney bye

  • what was the song when she was skydiving in the pilot episode? i can't find it anywhere.

  • @gastogether4ever

'Dog Days Are Over' by Florence and the Machine

  • @shadedcolor it dosent sound like it nor the lyrics are the same

  • @shadedcolor The song is not "Dog Days Are Over" although there seems to be some misconception that it is. It's "Can You Save Me" by Apple Trees and Tangerines. It's not on iTunes but it is on their Myspace page since they aren't too well known yet. It's a great song though!

  • love the show, but the credits suck.

  • Ok, people. I'm getting sick and tired of people talking about ALIAS and Chuck. A show is going to resemble another show, NO MATTER WHAT. Deal. The opening credits? Sure it resembles Chuck. But what does Chuck resemble? First thing that comes to mind: James Bond. When you deal with a spy like show, you're going to get similarities. OK?

  • @ShibaGurl Funnily enough Chuck was kind a rip off of Jake 2.0 which had Chris Gorham in it. It's like a massive degree, pretzel thing. And Alias was more like Nakita... just sayin'.

  • Comment removed

  • @ShibaGurl Chuck resembling bond? Not at all the show was practically copied from Jake 2.0. The literal premise down to the feel is copied from Jake.

  • @ShibaGurl Did people actually watch Chuck??? I can't believe it.

  • This show remembers ALIAS...

But she is not like Sydney, she is more like Rachel Gibson (in season 5)

I'm waching this show because some people told that is just like ALIAS

But is not ALIAS, IT'S DIFFERENT!

    OMG! I WANT ALIAS BACK!

  • I love the opening credits, they have a "classic spy" feel to them.

  • Comment removed

  • I love the Show , but the Intro is pathetic.

  • seems like a ripoff of chuck's opening credits.

  • @purplestuffff48 That's exactly what I said when I saw it!!!
