I had the same problem too, except for part 6. I just gave up and downloaded a torrent that was MUCH faster than OP's links

Sorry to steal your thunder, horrowshow, but these links are really bad. I keep getting 1.4kb/s~144b/s as my download speed for them. And I made sure it was 24 hours after my last download, and they were still misbehaving.

@therickyhorrorshow the game itself plays and works perfectly fine for me, but for some reason when I hit Command+H the screen goes black, and the music/sound fx continues, and if I do the same again, the game is still working. I've tried hitting Command+M first then Command+H, but it's still a black screen with the music playing in the back. So in another words, I can't play the game in full screen. Any idea as to how I could fix this? Thanks in advance!

Everything worked according to plan until I clicked on the application and the display of my screen changes.. and then an error box pops up, and leaves my screen zoomed in. I don't know how you manage to make it a downloadable game since alot of people know that American Mcgee Alice is actually a novelty classic. Meaning it is extremely rare or uncommon that it is impossible to purchase, despite the game being made in 2000, when people buy it used? it's 30$ and when new? it's 70$ which is bullshit. I mean the Fallout classics are novelty as well, but they didn't make it expensive as fuck.

Finally got it to download, installed and then would not open past titles. Crashed to desktop with "Has quit unexpectedly message". Tried uninstall/reinstall and reboots. No help.

Just one thing for the people that might be finding it hard to open the files on the mac, I actually had to rename them all individually to "American McGee's Alice™ (Mac OSX).dmg.part1.rar" and part2, part3 etc, just like it said in the video. After that, it worked.

So, here's the deal; I downloaded the files and a RAR extractor (The Unarchiver) and at first it wouldn't extract because something wasn't completed. I downloaded again, and now the game starts, but it freezes on an abstract black and white screen (with all the sounds) and goes into a black screen on the opening menu. I can tell the mouse is working since it makes sounds, but the only thing that isn't working is the imagery. Do you possibly have a solution? Or shall I just try downloading again?

I'm running Windows 7, I used Winrar to extract the 9 parts, after that i get a American Mcgee's Alice.rar, so I extract again and I get the no cd folder, serial.txt and the iso. So far so good. I mount the iso with daemon tools, run autoplay, install, input the serial from the serial.txt, ok, typical installation, ok, it starts installing when it gets to 72% it asks for a 2nd CD, if i hit continue it does nothing but send error/asks for cd and cancel deletes files already installed, any ideas?

@robinarens Part 1 won't extract with the other parts. When you extract part 1, it extracts all of the parts atthe same time. That's why they're all needed and need to be placed in the same area.

Once you extract u get a folder and in it is a folder called nocd, the i opened the burner with WinRAR and dragged all Alice files into nocd folder xD. Thank you Great Game :D

I downloaded the PC files, no readme in any file. Extracted everything, got a full CD file, but at 70% of the installation, it's asking me for a floppy disk. Also, it seems to be stuck at the french files installation, which are not on the CD.

@Xenoxiluna Not sure exactly. I have an Intel Mac and it works perfectly. Sometimes it acts up if I go fullscreen, but otherwise its golden. Try messing with the settings in the menus to see if it changes any.
