hey man, do you know how to do a update on the maps on this gps? i just bought one myself and the map seems really old when i used it. i live in florida and it dont have a couple roads that have been here like 5-6 yrs. how do i update the map on this thing? hope you can help me.
My friend has recently bought one of these but before he actually used it the sound has stopped working and the sound symbol at the top of the screen has a red symbol with a line through just like a no entry sign. All attempts to get the sound working again have failed.
Also the software that came with it Igo8 does not work either even though it initially did.
However TomTom 7 does but again no sound.
Anyone any idea of how to get the sound working again?
A box had been checked that shouldn't have been and unchecking it solved the proplem but I can't remember which one but may have been something to do with the wireless but nothing to do with the sound settings?
haha i went from the 80's to africa with that music! was looking into getting one,has it still been good to you MUSHILEA? pretty accurate?would you still recommend this product or would you have paid more for a name brand?

Its been a great GPS to me. I've had these, a MIO and a Navman. I preferred this one since it was cheaper, had a bigger screen, and the actual text input was alot easier since it cancels out any impossible letter combinations for addresses.
Ie, If i'm typing in Sydney, and there are, hypothetically, two cities called Sydney and Sydmey, Once I reach SYD only n and m are available to press. Makes it so much easier!
Mate, I've got the vanhe GPS - pretty much the same one as yours. My girlfriend imported it from HK for my xmas present. However it doesn't work. The GPS doesn't work. I click on the 'car' symbol, but nothing comes up. instead it remains on the main option page when you turn the gps on.
@BUzzKID89 It sounds as if you don't have the actual GPS software installed. I believe this one uses iGO software of some version with 'whereis' maps. Some of the chinese GPS's don't have this installed automatically. The software came with the 2gb SD card included in with this GPS.
