  • Don't forget to spay and neuter the lower classes.....

  • @happymax1 lol...that was bad...funny, but bad...lol

  • YES!!! I love DSW's.

  • 5$ foot long

  • COME BACK, BOB!!!!

  • Drew never would've reacted that enthusiastic. Where's Bob when we need him??

  • hi

  • 144,000 haha amen!

  • 5 bucks!!! Still more exciting than the $0 difference. Bob would have been more enthusiastic than Drew in that moment.

  • @PhoenixGoddess1983 drew has the enthusiam of jello and a senate hearing committee on C-SPAN. if my Sat nights ever come that uneventful where I watch one out of boredom and eating school cafeteria Jello I'd shoot myself lol

  • @odog65 sad but true

  • it was great she won by only 5 dollars, but of course all her dirt bag friends had to run up and act like animals, that is what runis this show,

  • @delideliver someone has a chip on their shoulder

  • @MikeSaurus yeah I do,maybe if your brother died you might have a chip on your shoulder too

  • @delideliver no one cares? dont blame your brother for your poor behavior

  • that was another awesome DSW!

  • keep pressing 7 GANG RAPE

  • @1DanniiBoii6 lol ppl come to join in to.

  • Wooop wooop WOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! Wooop wooop WOOOOOOOOOP!

  • Up to this point, it was actually the third best (a 2, two 4s, then this five). IIRC, an 8 happened around the same time. All told, there have been eight differences under ten dollars in 39 years.

  • Wow, THAT is close.

  • this is REAL Price is right here :)

  • she's a cute one!

  • she is extremely hott...

  • Kate needs to be face fucked!

  • CUT YOUR PETS DICK OFF BOB BARKER OUT

  • Even after winning both showcases and the bells and whistles and cheering and applause and her friends running towards her - she still went back to kiss the contestant who lost her showcase. How sweet is that?

  • @DannyBkyn That contestant is all smile and seems genuinely happy for her...that's even sweeter.

  • @DannyBkyn That's class, I tell ya. She went back!

  • People - people - people - The closest bid ever for a showcase showdown was an EXACT MATCH ($0 difference). It is available here on YouTube (along with a video where the guy explains the bid). Just search "Price is Right Exact" to find therm.

  • OAD: June 27, 2003.

  • I begun gesturing '1' and '4' with my fingers as I mouthed 'fourteen.' In the end, she actually misinterpreted my suggestion of $14,000, with $14,400. This random miscommunication was actually the reason she ended up with BOTH showcases (not that being $405 off was too shabby either).

It was a very exciting day for all of us. I thought everyone would appreciate that small twist in the story that, in the end, gave Kate both showcases, due to a very minor miscommunication.

  • ...continued from below

For whatever reason, she chose me as her friend/assistant for the Showcase Showdown. As the first showcase was presented, I began to just guess at what each item might cost, well knowing that if a car didn't show in this first showcase, the other contestant would most probably pass it along for Kate to bid on.

In the end, I came up with a number of $14,000. Seriously just some random luck. The amazing part was, as Kate was decided what bid she should place...

  • Thought I would offer some insight into this particular episode. I was one of the winning contestant's classmates. There were about 15 of us that decided to attend, after our Kansas State architecture class field trip had concluded.

After the two Showcase contestants have been determined, the producers tell each person they can choose one of their friends/fellow audience members to come down to the base of the stage and assist in the Showcase bidding process.

    to be continued...

  • Like I said before, why does the word "showcase" begin with a dollar sign?????

  • Wow that Lady won 2 showcases. What a surprise!

  • I heard that the closest DSW winner on Bob's run was...$2!

  • @carchavtube $2 is the lowest documented difference. That video is on YT. Someone claims to have $1 shortly after the $2 video. I'm calling shenanigans. As far as I'm concerned, the record was only broken twice and can't be broken again.

    $4 - first show, 1972

    $2 - Late '79 tape date, 2/27/80

    $0 - Sept '08, 12/16/08

  • @sshuffield70 i think that's misinterpreted. there was a $1 dollar difference, but it wasn't a DSW, it was a double overbid. the girl's showcase was 11,999, she bid 12,000.

  • @LtSeth242 No. Someone else had claimed there was $1 difference about a week after the $2. It's never surfaced, so I don't believe it exists. And yeah, I knew about the $1 over (the one you speak of).

  • @sshuffield70 The best bid ever was an EXACT MATCH. It is here on YouTube - along with a video in which he explains how he came up with the figure.

  • @PeterFormaini Yes, I know. It was noted in the original comment.

  • @sshuffield70 there was a second $4 difference in 1981. The video is also on YT.

  • lol have your pet spaied or nutered i was watching robot chicken last night and they had that episode on its so fing funny

  • That's the best I've ever seen besides that douchebag who clearly cheated. Drew wasn't even excited when that douchebag cheated.

  • @vaibanez17 what im trying to figure out is HOW he could've cheated?? maybe he was just really lucky...

  • wow thats crazy!

  • have your pets spayed or neutered?

  • @boxingboxers ?? what weird about that?

  • i remember this one

  • Air date: 4/14/03. And nice underwear at 0:24 too.

  • lets just Neuter Drew Carey and call the whole thing off!

  • @Mascro1977 How about we retroactively abort you!

  • I like it how at the showcase, its always a white person vs a black women, and the white person always wins :)

  • @ThugCookie just like in real life

  • Excellnt video!!! She won by $5!!!!

  • thats so sick!

  • W.O.W. $5?! lucky lucy LUCKEIY

  • Bid of 5 bucks

  • It was actually the THIRD closest bid AT THE TIME! It is now the fourth closest.

  • someone got it exactly right!

  • @italianeyez914

That NEVER happened in Bob's 35 years. But Drew said it did.

  • lol the other woman was probably like...."Fuck...bitch gone and taken muh car!" " Five dollas.....Sheeeit......for realz?" hahahahaha

  • lol bob has to hide behind the podiums to stay out of the mob

  • DSW? Dallas Shoe Warehouse? :-D

  • theres a guy who got the price exact.

  • @aaahhh789 There are 2 guys who got the exact price. 1 in the 70's and 1 when drew took over.

  • wow...u srsly? im like speechless rite now...

  • Wow that is great to see DSW like that!

  • some guy got it right on the money!!

  • He cheated.

  • probably

  • @appleguy916 and the loser was black then as well lol

  • Comment removed

  • @natedogg827 no he didnt

    HE GUESSED LIKE EVERYOONE ELSE!

  • NO HE DIDNT!

HE GUESSED LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES ON THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! U ARE A LIAR!!!!

  • ya but imagine the dogs that watch this show... like do they try to cover themselves down there at the end?? or you think they never watch the whole episode due to not wanting to hear Bob talk about chop chop?

  • @junglemage666 Well when we were watching the price is right the other day and the cat was sitting next to us who had just been neutered, we looked at him and went HA! after Drew told us to spay and neuter our pets ;)

  • Whats with Bob always telling us to get our dogs balls snipped?

  • CBS condonnes it

  • I remember watching the day this happened.

  • That bid is incredible

  • i think if you guess it exactly you should get 1mil or 100K

  • Comment removed

  • i wonder if anyone ever bid exactly right b4

  • That is nearly impossible huh...

Ah well, "nothing is impossible", I mean NEARLY impossible.

  • Comment removed

  • Twice. Once near the beginning of the show, and once during Drew's tenure as host.

  • yes, it's happened twice, once in 1973 and another one in 2008.

  • they did once, like exactly. this guy called terry

  • yup. It happened in season 37 with drew carey.

  • Yep..and the one that happened near the beginning of the show was BEFORE the Double Showcase rule was in place (meaning the winner only got his or her showcase).

  • yeah on the drew carey 1 million dollar spectacular its on youtube somewhere

  • One word: °O°

  • That's not a word. o_o

  • watch?v=fSWyhLoCcBQ

  • yip,and here it is

     watch?v=4AKqFctkKMY

  • second best? whats the best?!

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA

There have been 2 (TWO) exact bids.

One is posted right here - Search "TPIR SHOWCASE EXACT"

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA best was 0 the man was like a walking catalougue

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA someone got it exactly right search on youtube for it

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA One guy guessed on a trailer EXACTLY right.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA i think the best was $0 off or $1 off

  • @KaiserVadin You are correct - the best bid ever was an EXACT MATCH. It is available here on YouTube.

  • @KaiserVadin $0

    someone got it right!

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA a old man get it even!!

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA Someone bid his showcase a season or two ago right on the nose.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA

2 people have got the price dead on

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA One guy hit it right on the nose before.

  • @azpandaman Yeah, it's in the related videos you fucking dipshit.

  • @BeanbagJoe1 Why are you trolling because I answered the guys question? You need to just calm down and stop trying to act like your all cool because you made a derogatory term towards another person. Kudos to you for actually having proper grammar....

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA

LOL, Bob messes up his facts. This was the fourth best. The third best was a $4 difference on the VERY FIRST EPISODE IN 1972, and the second best was a $2 difference. The best was a $0 difference on Dennis James' nighttime version in 1972 or 1973. Of course, $0 would happen again in late 2008.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA Exactly on the dollar. Happened back in '72 or '73 and then once more recently a few years back.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA correct price to the exact dollar

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA IT's not even that good now. 2 times people have got it head on.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA one guy got the EXACT amount

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA I think some got it right, look for exact bid on here .

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA there wwas this guy who bid the right ammount...it was fucked..people thought he cheated.

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA im pretty sure some guy got the exact bid

  • @TehLastSmurf yes, that's what i was thinking when he said second best, there's a vid of that somewhere on youtube

  • @CENTENOMONTOYA

some guy got it on the nose!

  • If she had bid 5 dollars more...

  • If that had been the case I don't think she would be happy for long, a guy guessed the exact price of the showcase and they want to accuse him of cheating so if Kate did the same thing imagine how things would turn out for her.

  • yeah, but that was a Drew Carey episode...he sucks! Bob would have freaked out

  • @dubs19842008 nothing would of happened

  • Imagine if she was over by five dollars. I would probably go postal, haha

  • Well, Bob had a $1 over (that's on YT somewhere), and Drew's had a $2 over. There's also a $9 over on YT as well.

  • It's not the second best. On the first show the winner bid within $4, and another woman in the 70's bid within $2.

  • That $2 clip is now on YT. Airdate 2/27/80 part 10

  • he might have meant the second best bid on the showcase in the season

  • The best finish is exactly right, has only happened twice in TPIR history, once in 1972 or 1973, and 2008, I believe.

  • Already been asked, but does anyone have this video with the full celebration?

  • lol holy crap, that's a once in a lifetime thing i bet lol. Well apparently twice since this was the second best bid, i really wanna see the first best!!

  • $5 dollars that's amazing!! that bid would never repeat again

  • wow that was the sickest bid i've ever seen! i don't think anyone will ever come close to that ever again with the amounts so high

  • WTF is the #1 BEST Bid?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Somebody has guess it spot on before!

  • wow, image if it is something total random like 37492

  • it happened twice a few months ago

  • A guy made a perfect bid sometime last year and he won. But of course everybody just had to be suspicous of it and tried to accuse him of cheating. He didn't cheat, he knew what the price of the prizes were cause he had seen them used in other episodes, thats not cheating its called remembering.

  • holy smokes! she won!

  • OH BOY!!!

  • bob said it was the second best bid ever in the showcase, what was the closest?

  • $4 from show one (Bob's era. Of course, it's been shattered.) There's a picture with $2 on it. I'm not sure as to the source. Bob doesn't count the nighttime show in the record books.

  • Someone bid their showcase dead on the price. Only been done twice. Once with Bob and once with Drew

  • $1 it only happend twice in history

  • theres been a few that ahve been exact, and they win both showcases lol

  • 5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar showcasssse! lol

  • capitalism sucks.

  • now it's stuck in my head. thanks.

  • Does anyone know the date on this show?

  • if that was the second closest i wana see the closest

  • A man a few weeks back got his showcase price exactly right. Search for it on here.

  • dude i totaly watched that one on TV i was like omg!

  • she shouda bit 14005

  • I hope you saw today's TPIR.

  • aww, i liked how she turned around to give the other contestant a hug!

  • that is the sound closs bid in that show hister if i rebem there was olny one bid that was right on the nonse

  • 14,405? That's cheap, they could have rounded it or something..

  • thats epic.

  • She bid more than $14,000 that's incredible!!!

  • What was the first best?

  • "It is believed that there has been only one perfect bid in the Showcase in the history of Price, occurring on the 1970's nighttime run hosted by Dennis James; the podium purportedly displayed "00000". Because there was no Double Showcase Rule on this nighttime syndicated version (or at least at the time), the contestant only won their own Showcase.

  • There is a 2nd one which aired about a week before Christmas

  • A perfect bid has never occurred on the daytime show; the closest anyone has bid to their Showcase is $1 (March 5, 1980), although there have been at least two people who overbid by $1 (and thus lost) - July 12, 1974 and October 19, 2004."

  • and then there's Terry from season 37

  • Her original showcase was only $14,000? That sucks.

  • good for her

  • I remember a lot more in this episode. The winner did run to the room, but she ran faster with a friend to the car she also won and quickly went in to pretend she was driving it, but it looked like she was mobbing it from the inside. Anyone have this one with the whole celebration?

  • Woah!!!

  • If that was the second best bid, then what was the best of all?

  • THE BEST WAS 2 DOLLARS OFF

  • I think the best was $4 it was in 1981 the clip's here on Youtube. Guy's name was Clement?
