I'm sure some people will be voting absentee for the very reason of fear due to possible intimidation at the voting poll places. Sad but true. I will not let anyone keep me from going out and showing up at the voting place.

you will find me voting republican with the exception of Rick Perry. As a resident of Houston, I had a front row seat to watch Bill White change the landscape of the city without the use of bonds and without raising taxes. Under Bill White, downtown Houston buildings lowered their electricity cost, parking lots were changed to discovery green, and he had a 90% approval rating when he left office.

Things are a little different in small town Amerian...out of the 3600 people in our town, probably less than 45% vote...it is a "Democrat town" and you have to ask for Republican ballots (when appropriate) and the "ladies" working the polls then fuss at you and tell you that it will do you no good! Etc. LOTS of things need to change this coming November...LOTS of things...and for the better, not in an Obama/Carter/Clinton way! We won't have a country in 2012, if not!

@samisays Sami, do you think it would help if you'd record the women saying those things to you? I call what they said "voter intimidation and/or harrassment"! Be strong, dear girl....you are an American & you deserve to cast your vote w/o being looked down on due to your beliefs. You're 100% correct - if we cannot turn things around in November, our country, as it was founded, ceases to exist! Record what's said by the workers & say they shouldn't mind their superiors viewing it. Go for it! :)

Mr. Neidner is spot on.I made the mistake of not recording my experience voting for Ron Paul in the 2008 primary, but I was instructed by the NYC campaign headquarters to give my account of what happened in a YouTube video & call the board of elections.Their lawyers were supposed to take care of the rest on their end but nonetheless the whole day went by WITHOUT Ron Paul's name on the ballot.As I recount in my YouTube video, the polling officials insisted that he had dropped out when he didn't.

I think it is also important to point out the amount fraud that takes place before going to the voting booth. More and more cases of politicians paying people to fill out absentee ballots are popping up all over the country. Chase these cases down and get people to file complaints and expose those responsible, please!

Great vid and good ideas, Jim. I do have a question for you though. Are you suggesting that we take video cameras to the voting booth? For what reason?  Is it allowed? (I should know this...but, I don't.) Thanks!

@shellymic No- if you will recall the last Black Panther intimidation was filmed outside the voting Poll office. Without that film it would all be hear say. Use cell phones with cameras or video cameras. This will help document if their is intimidation or other at the Polls.
