  • If I Got £395878457458358793 For Every Pixel In This Video I Would Have £2762374523456235646753465634753653645683667284347234278316742354763854287190347129308748128427834678283642634242345626542653467235423423523

  • The music reminds me of the first underwater level in Super Mario 64 =p

  • @CAMERABOI Kinda does =) Thanks for checking it out!

  • There is no button for love so I liked it, friend. Thank you for your great art/music.

  • I do miss the star rating system, and the "reaction" thing isn't too helpful either, but I do appreciate the "like" click and especially the nice comment! Cheers and have a great weekend =)

  • @jcmegabyte i'm sorry friend, but i don't understand your use of the term "reaction"? Same to you! =D

  • The "Your Reaction" button allows video viewers to select one of 6 pre-defined "reactions" to a video...

The button is found right next to the comment field on video playback pages. I think it is supposed to help replace the old 1-5 star rating system they removed a while back, but there really arean't enough choices in it. :-)

    Have a great weekend!

  • @jcmegabyte hhhaaha sure that's all we need next. "pre-defined thoughts" already made FOR us. I had no idea. How weird. Well thanks for telling me about it. G'nite!

  • very nice. I enjoyed watching this one :)

  • Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed the show =)

  • @jcmegabyte

    you are very welcome :)

  • Thats some high quality H2O

  • This is no HD footage...

  • Lovely. All of it. Thank you for reminding me what's important and for a fantastic hour of pleasant entertainment & joy :)

Can you point me to where you talk about technique a bit? Fascinated with time lapse and would love to play a bit.

  • Thanks, Jan! I sent you some info in mail =)

  • @jcmegabyte Thank you - will enjoy checking out your techniques in the near future :)

  • yeah true youtube re-encoedes videos with low bitrates when i do a 720p bluray film i use atleast 13mb/s

and for 1080p its around 27mb/s

  • Bear Grylls would still boil that H20 prior to partaking in it's splendor.

  • Most of it probably needs it, too! XD

  • I like how Youtube has taken "HD" and completely redefined it as something closer to SD. But anyway... yay water!

  • Yea - this one transcoded very poorly, possibly because of all the movement and detail. Most of my other ones came out much better so I guess it can be hit and miss with the quality. Thanks for watching! :-)

  • wtf is this ?

  • @vuurwerkmania water in hd , as the title says it is, what did you expect. a flying pig? even though title says water hd 720p?

  • That HD sucks, but video rox.

  • This one really got pixelated for some reason - even the HD version.Maybe it's all the motion in the scenes or something. Dunno... MPEG can can be weird like that.

  • Manantial!

    Excelente video

  • Thanks so much for the great comment! Still working hard to improve the quality every day! :-)

  • this is a fav.

    water = life

  • Thanks so much for watching and the nice comment! Glad you enjoyed :-)

  • So you are "Technician", too ? I thought you maybe had a separate music producer ! Now your work is even more impressive !! I can't believe you did it all.

You have a way of further enhancing the beauty of nature with your music.

  • Yea - kinda looks like a whole crew, but it's really just one guy! I've been doing the experimental music thing for 25+ years (more power to the innovators!) and wanted to make nature movies all my life. Now with modern technology just about anyone can do it, so I'm making up for all those years! Interestingly, a lot of this music is 20 years old and was waiting around for the chance to be soundtracks, as it was intended. Nice that it finally gets to see the light of day! :-)

  • Your music sounds real modern.I guess maybe you have some better sounds now than 20 years ago.I have some 10 to 15 year old music.I hope when it's ready to be released, it sounds as good as yours. Thanks for all the replies.I hope I'm not bothering you.I guess it's dark out there now & you can't film outside.Your probably at work indoors, though.I'll bet your a work-a-holic.

  • My music was made with cutting-edge stuff at the time, but like other "before its time" music it was too weird for most people. XD Good thing I did it because I liked it! Now this kind of music is everywhere - good news for us electronic fans! I look forward to hearing your older stuff, too!

I probably do more indoor work than outdoor, but it depends on the time of year. I'd say I'm more of a create-a-holic than a work-a-holic... I'm always makin' stuff! :-)

  • Hey there. I'm sure people have already asked you this but, what camera did you use?

  • Actually I dont think anyone has ever asked about this video in particular... This is a compilation of material taken by several different cameras and methods. Most of the live video (16:9) was shot with a Canon HF100 HD camcorder, and two older JVC MiniDV Camcorders(4:3). The time lapse sequences were made with a Canon 5S-is still camera, including a few of the 4:3 video clips (shot with the 5S's video mode). :-)

  • did u recorded this urself?? when yes, then im = :O *shocked* cuz its (i didnt have to tell u all) sooooo amazing

  • Yes, all the video, music and production in all of my videos is all my original work. =)

Thanks so much for watching and the great comment! :-)

  • Hi, love your videos, did a great job yesterday put another video of a look I think you will like Thanks /watch?v=270bfTcF6BE

  • Awesome like I'm guessing all your videos. It'll take me a while to watch them all but I'm looking forward to continuing ... does this make sense? Sigh, it's almost 3 a.m. here ... but what a wonderful way to relax :)

  • Thanks so much for the nice comment! I'd be amazed if you made it through even half of my vids... I have over 800, if you add all my channels together. Fortunately, most are really short, and the best ones are the latest ones, so you can start at the newest and work backwards until you just can't stand any more! :-)

  • Excellent work... You have a great talent! Best regards.

  • Thanks so much for watching and commenting :-)

  • very artistic and a great theme for us downunder who are always dry!! 5*

  • Are you doing the drought thing there too? Even though it's cold and rainy here right now, we go for up to 10 months of dry weather each year, most of which is also hot! It definitely is nice to refer to these videos at those times :-) Thanks for watching!

  • Very very nice!

    Giuliano

  • Thanks! :-)

  • superb...love it!

  • Thanks for checking it out :-)

  • I had a very bad busy day at work today, didn't feel like eating or watching TV,so i just kept my laptop switch on on YouTube, accidentally i click on one of your video,WoW is the word, its has such a healing power, thank you.

  • I'm happy to hear this video could help you out of your bad day - that's exactly what making it was all about. Thanks for watching and the nice comment :-)

  • such a lovely video....u did a super job with the editing.

    michael

  • Thanks so much for watching and the great comment! Cheers :-)

  • This was so relaxing... You have a talent there mate :)

  • Thanks for the great comment! :-) These relaxing meditation-type vids seem really popular, and I've got more like this in the works... just need to write the music. Thanks for watching! =)

  • I always enjoy your videos. I like how you switched from the slow, relaxing pace to the faster pace of the rain. Nicely done and enjoyable.

  • I did try to switch tempo and theme a bit to keep things interesting - nice of you to notice! Thanks so much for watching and the nice comment =D

  • omg. that's fantastic. i could listen to running water 24/7. merry christmas!

  • It is rather relaxing isn't it? Thanks for stopping by and happy holidays to you as well :-)

  • The water is life, life is more than all water. Excellent video, thank you for this channel.

  • My pleasure - thanks so much for watching and commenting =)

  • fantastic! loves how it ends with the running water sound

  • I thought that might add a nice touch. Thanks for noticing =) Happy holidays!

  • Wonderful!!! great shots, transitions and editing. Love it!

  • Thanks for the cool comment and view - happy holidays! :-)

  • Beautiful. You were lucky to catch that bird on the water and then when it took off. Was that a pelican?

  • yeah it was a pelican - GeraldBoyClassical

to Jc: the quality of the video was terrible(Yt does destroy some great video's quality) but overall, it was pretty cool, you make nature so cool.

    Thanks, RuneSick

  • Yea, I noticed the fmt=1 version is really nasty. The fmt=6, 18 and 34 are a bit better. The quality of the HD (fmt=22) version is best (obviously) but even THAT suffers a bit due to compression. Unfortunately, I just read that the HD versions are only available in the US, so my overseas views may not even be able to see the best quality version(s) :-( Hopefully the quality and accessibility will improve as the YT wizards work their magic. Happy holidays! :-)

  • That was a lucky bit of timing, although I'm sure my presence was what spooked him, so it wasn't all natural magic! :-) I believe the bird is an immature Brown Pelican. I filmed him at Malibu Lagoon, CA. It was nearly dark, hence the grainy video. However, the lights from nearby buildings reflecting off of the water more than made up for the low lighting! Thanks for watching :-)

  • Beautiful JC. And the music is in perfect harmony.

  • Thanks for noticing - I do put a lot of effort into timing the scenes and transitions. =D Happy holidays!

  • lovely....moving water is so inspiring!:)

  • Isn't it though? =) For such simple scenes they can be surprisingly powerful. Thanks for watching and happy holidays! :D

  • That's so nice to hear - I wrote/recorded that music 20 years ago and it's great that it's getting a chance to be appreciated. Thanks so much for watching! =D

  • So beautiful, images and music.

    Love it.

  • Great comment - glad you liked it! Happy holidays =D

  • fine vid. ¿:)

  • Thanks a bunch for stopping to to check it out :-)

  • I don't know if I prefer the time lapse or the slow motion, are both amazing!and what about real time, it's real great!

    Thanks!

    ciao

    Donni

  • I'm having a great time using all three methods to make my shows... and I'm hoping to get a high-speed/very slow motion camera soon - that should make for some additional cool footage! Thanks so much for watching and commenting =D

  • bEAUTIFULL!! Beautiful!!

  • Hey there - good to see you! Thanks for stopping by to check it out :-)

  • Ahh your back im glad now i don't have to use a special program to make HD vids!

  • Yes, fortunately, Windows Movie Maker has those 5.9Mbr and 6.9Mbr 720p output options, which work great with YT's upload system, even if your original footage was NOT in 720p or 1080p. Hmmm... the secret's out! XD

  • unfortunatly it's only vista.-_-'

  • Windows Movie Maker comes with Windows Vista! You probably already have it on your PC - Look in the Start Menu, or on C: in Program Files / Movie Maker. Have fun! =D

  • The thing is it cannot produce HD quality thats what im getting at here. I been searching for it but no dice it. i upgraded to windows internet explorer 8 i still have the old WMM version. LOL! oh well.

  • If you have Vista, you should have WMM v6.x, and if you don't, you can download it directly from Microsoft for free. WMM version 2.6x and earlier doesn't have a HD output option, but 6+ does. :-)

  • oh ok thats all i need to know besides i have a esier way of doing this anyways!

  • The work you present is always pleasing to the mind's eye, jcmegabyte. Well done. This is gorgeous footage, accompanied by very relaxing music. This one has received five glimmering stars, and was quickly teleported into my favorites.

  • Awesome! Glad you enjoyed :-) I wrote that music quite a few years ago and I'm glad it's finally getting to be heard. Happy holidays!

  • Very COOL! I really like this in HD. It rocked!! The music and images get ALL THE STARS...FAV IT too. Have a excellent holiday~cheers,Meg

  • I'm lovin' this HD, too :-) Thanks so much for the view, comment and stars!

  • This is so beautiful and nice. And nice sounds. 5 stars.

  • Thanks so much for the view, comment and stars! =)

  • Beautiful...You do have an eye for the

    beauty in things.

  • It's funny - they kind of jump out at me, or sometimes I stumble onto them. Thanks for the view and ncie comment :-)
