Ihave been playing for 20 years and have been correcting tabs constantly.You've got the meaning man of the satriani legato technique,just tighten up your technique with a stronger vibrato and give more time when your playing smaller licks on a song , more space.One thing i cant understand though is that if you can hear the legato so clearly why do you screw up some other parts in your covers.Anyway contact me i can help you fill in the missing parts.

I keep coming back to this video and I am always mesmerized by the section starting at 2:37, it sounds sooooo good and the technique is spectacular.

Theres a ton of really good Surfing With The Alien renditions on here but very few of them are as perfect in this section as this guy.
