CZ handguns are usually budget oriented but they have one thing going for them that I find other brands lacking, majority of models produced by cz in various ammo's have a knack for being hell reliable. FTE, FTF are things common with brands such as S&W, Taurus but for the price CZ reliability is unparalleled. I like how the shell is ejected far away from the shooter gives a person lots of confidence right there.
great well made guns. also 32 acp is just a bit deadlier with the slightly long barrel and stiffer springs that cz uses. other companies go to small and light.
@Mosin54r i just inherited one from an uncle who recently passed... just wandering if they are very noisy guns... cant tell much from this video... i was in the army and shot m16 to 240B calibers ranging from 5.56 to 7.62 nato. 5.56 wasnt really that loud . just wandering if its around that frequency
@TokeThePlanet420 : It depends on on the barrel length. Its pretty LOUD I'll tell you (bark worse than its bite?) if I were an intruder and someone took even a potshot with this I WOULD RUN ! The CZ.83. is a GREAT gun.....keep it as an heirloom, it will be worth a bit a after some time(even now). Just remember to pack it in cosmoline and take off the grips if you are not gonna shoot it for a while.
@Mosin54r OH YEAH THEY ARE!!!! My CZ-82 is INSANELY ACCURATE, especially for an eastern-bloc pistol!! I think the polygonal rifling (also chrome lined) helps out on that A LOT!(do the civilian CZ-83's have button rifling, or do they also have polygonal rifling? CZ's RULE!!
@reeseman67 The 83 is also polygonal with chromed barrels. As far as I know, the only significant difference in the 82 and the 83 is the markets that they were aimed at and that the 83 was never chambered in 9mm Mak.
A fellow 83 owner in the boonies! Mine is in .380 though, really comes back in the hand.
