  • LOL look at 4:03, that kid is what the Gov't Education is turning them all into!

  • makes me glad i smoked pot all through high school and still made 7th in my class!

  • It's hilarious how most parents are so brainwashed into thinking that anyone who home schools their children must be a kook. My sister teaches at a public school and she thinks that homeschooling deprives kids of a social life! What the fuck? Brainwashed idiots all over the place.

  • 1.26- 1.48!! WFT! They are teaching kids to simply avoid punishment and go with the flow. This makes me SO ANGRY!! Judging from the videos quality, clothing etc. this must have been my generation these "tests" were done with. No wonder few people my age seem to know right from wrong.

  • The nail that sticks out gets hammered. It's like that everywhere. Going with the flow is what they want kids to do. I resisted, during all of the twelve years of public school hell.

  • this is why i dont like fucking school becus i hate people telling me wat to do all the time i dont want to learn what they want me to, i want to learn what im intresting in.

  • so this is why we have so many sheep in this country!

  • Feminists are essentially absolutists, incapable of reasoning with someone who differs, namely Christians, conservatives, and Caucasians.

  • Excellent video. Thank you for the information. I recently received a copy of the Reece Committee Report from 1953, which shows how our largest corporations through their foundations took control of education back in the 1930s--at that time they were pushing collectivism into the education system. It's no wonder today that we have so many publicly educated bureaucrats willing to push the same things they taught.

  • @kev1776 that is so true! The system is corrupt . Somehow I know that the educational institution is a dirty game but I could not quite put my hands on it. Now I realize that corporations control the educational system and they main objective to conform students to certain ideologies being forced down their throats. That way they keep producing workers and people won't challenge the status quo.

  • I also agree with her on the lack of accessibility to public policy information, but I am motivated by a desire that there be free education for whomever is willing to work to be educated.

  • Not trying to be flip with the following statement, but what do you mean when you say 'willing to work to be educated?" Just trying to understand...Thanks

  • If one cares enough to put the effort forth to become educated, to get good grades and apply themselves, etc., then they should be afforded that opportunity. Call me a pinko (as I'm sure Ms. Luksisk would) but I also feel that there are children whose circumstances keep them from caring about education until someone who cares about them in an altruistic sense makes an effort to engage said children, which a profit-driven school sure as shit would not do (unless subsidized by...the government!)

  • @torifan2 I cannot be certain of the intent of gthe commenter but when i hear the statement "willing to work to be educated" IT COULD MEAN "being willing to actually apply ones-self to education.. To invest in the effort of being educated". There are many young people who do not value being educated since it is often thought of as "free" . I may not be happy with what is being taught in public schools..but I value the opportunity and apply myself diligently to educating myself outside the box.

  • I have been a lifelong attendee of public schools in politically disparate cities (Albuquerque, San Diego, and Berkeley), and can attest that I have never been subjected to the ridiculous standards described by Ms. Luksik. Furthermore, private schools are also obligated to set arbitrary benchmarks of success. While I agree with some her criticisms (evaluations of personality), I don't agree with the capital-based standards of private institutions. Ms. Luksik oversimplifies the situation.

  • Charlotte Iserbyt expands on the subject of dumbing down, she gives interviews and speeches which can be viewed on YouTube.

  • I home school my kids because of this

  • So shocking, but so not shocking.

  • Thanks for commenting. Glad someone is paying attention.
