"Music composed by Kenji Ito and Nobuo Uematsu." Uematsu on this one ? I think he's only done some music on the first SaGa series, not Romancing. If not, could you tell me which themes he composed, please ?

Great music. I have the PS2 version of the original Romancing Saga, but I haven't played it yet. I heard it has enemies that level with you, which I've never been a fan of in RPGs.

Romancing Saga:Minstrel Song is a remake of the original Romancing Saga. It's the same, with newly rendered graphics and also a new character, I believe. It's amazing. I recommend you get it. Now.

This game is solid but very dark at times. Ex: Exploring a sunken ship haunted by ghosts, going into the Mausoleum of your own empire, etc.

That's not very dark, you do things like that in almost all final fantasy games, and even "kiddie" games like mario and luigi superstar saga.
