What cult did this girl grow up in? Not Biblical Christianity! Doug, Christianity does not fit in the world you or anyone else lives in. The whole mess will be burned up and a new Heaven and a new earth will replace it. Read the Bible if you want to figure out God, because he has chosen to reveal himself through the scriptures.

Doug, we must realize that we are sinners, awful depraved sinners who are in need of a Savior. If we don't realize this, then how can we repent of our sins? I know to some it offends them to think of themselves this way, but the Bible says in Romans 3:10-- 'as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one."'

All of us have a sin nature, whether we want to admit it or not, and to ignore that truth in favor of this false gospel is to be doomed.

Luke 15 gives us Jesus' version of the Father. There he tells us he is like the father of a wasteful son. Sure, he longs for repentance and without it 'the (wayward) son' is dead and lost, but God's heart attitude towards the sinner is revealed in this passage. It is that I think that is being attempted in the sharing in this video.

Doug, we cannot make up a God of our own liking, that is called an Idol. The God of the bible is one to be awed and revered (look up the word awesome and awful).  God is love, but God also has wrath for those who do not repent and believe in His Son. To not tell the whole truth is heresy, misleading and you will be judged more harshly for leading others astray. Repent and teach others to repent lest you suffer the wrath of God. It's the truth.

this is sickening...and nothing new. this is the very thinking that caused Paul to contend for the faith in the way he did...

the very fact that God revealed Himself to mankind through His word should be enough to make these people drop the ground in worship.

how can one call themselves a believer and not see that? we cannot pick and choose which attributes of His we want!

if you are truly known by Him, those truths you may have had trouble wrapping your mind around will become precious to you
