The hatch spoiler is a replica of an European oem unit. the bumper spoiler is Reiger. The maintenance is definitely the most important thing with cars, especially turbocharged Dubs. The first thing I would do is drop the pan and replace the oil pump and pickup tube. This will ensure that you don't suffer from the sludge issue. I replaced mine at 70k when I got the car. Next, do the TBelt and waterpump. Then run synthetic and you will be good for another 100k!
@ConnectionWordd Yeah I understand Maintenance, but I'm not the original owner. I maintain the car properly but who knows what the original owner did to the thing (It was my first car, the nicest I could afford 2003 Passat GLX v6). I'm just worried is all. Can't afford anything in college lol, the cars already a stretch for me.
The race land coils are a good option in my opinion if you are looking for a budget setup. The dampening isn't adjustable so the lower you go the stiffer the ride. I live in Baltimore city and drive it daily and the are bearable. I am ordering a set for my mk2 jetta soon.
how are those raceland suspension ? are they worth the buy and could you actually go real low with them ? ive got some bilsten springs on my passat wagon right now im trying to get some coils but dont know whats good and worth the buy want something that would last a while and something not too rough ...
ive had 19s on my car before makes the car look real nice and everything but the ride you feel too much of the road thats one thing i dont like so now im on some 17s alot more comfy
Thanks for the compliments. I am running the Raceland coilovers. The wheels are 19x8.5 Flashpoint rims with 225/35/19 Dunlop Dirrezzas. The rack is a factory VW unit. I just added a Yakima basket which looks sick.
sick passat man! im trying to get one aswell! couple questions.... are you on a set of coilovers? if so what kind? and what rims did you use and wheels? also what roof rack is that?
Beautiful wagon. I'd love to see this rolling around on my streets.
Did you find out what song is in the video? I tried searching for soooooo long but came up empty :(
