While I agree with you, there seems to be something you have overlooked.
The reason why a man is funny when he does a womans voice or wears womens clothing is because deep inside men consider themselves superior to women. Thus, taking steps towards being more female is a form of self-humiliation.
Also, can you imagine a female host interviewing an actress and asking "Soo.. have you gotten more sex after you did the so and so movie?" (just thinking of Gerard Butler on Craig´s show) SOO NO GONNA HAPPEN!
