This guy had just extorted money from a hardware store that morning. The commandos were tipped off about him. He was identified as having a tattoo on his left arm. During frisking when his arms were pulled up he pulled out a mauger 9mm and started shooting indiscriminately and ran. sadly though the media never mentioned this part of the story.

My friend's cousin posted as IAs officer in Manipur got shot dead and beyond a tiranga nothign can out of it.. i wonder why this brouhaha over killing of an ex militant..... Manipur DGP knows the whole episode. He knows that encounter was fake. He is just trying to lie and cover up the act of notorious police commandos. What will be his reaction if her daughter gets killed? He must show at least some sincerity at whole episode as a human being thinking that the encounter was fake.
