  • Weird physics!Oh damn!My eyes,my eyes!Nooo!

  • lol just wasted 4 minutes of my life 1 minute was good but the rest awfull

like the start HES DRIVING 1minute thrugh (lol worst english ever) stuff

  • So running over a sigh makes a game realistic?

  • You mean Comparing Video Game collisions.

  • Physics is about how objects react to each other... for exemple, if some object fall to the ground, it wont just fall flat... it will bounce, slide, tumble... If you cant crash in some object, it's because it wasn't meant to be a solid component... but I guess am the only one to have said this.

  • excuse me but driving through objects like a ghost, isn't fun, and I'm pretty sure there are newer racing games with better car physics, so screw NR2003

  • LOLOLOL

    use of physics=crasing object only??

    That is shallow......

  • YES GAME NEED TO BE REALISTIC!!!! FULL PHYSICS!! ;OOOO

  • Video games DO NOT need to be realistic... If you want something to be realistic go outside -.-'

  • I love how when he is offroad you can see the car respond to every little imperfection while he tries to demonstrate that the game has bad physics. Irony at its best.

  • Flatout! yeah!

  • @BrodinBrothers22 that not flatout

  • @96Gmoder Then what does the big letters at 1:53 say?!

  • @BrodinBrothers22 oh that... but first race game its not flatout

  • If you want to see real physics type in Big Rigs Over The Road Racing!

  • I would say that Crytek just beat Valve at physics with CryEngine 3. Search on CryEngine 3 on youtube

  • no it didnt

  • Havok Physics are the best physics and it's more greater when combined with Euphoria Dynamic Motion Synthesis (Euphoria is not a physics engine, it just adds more life into existing Physics Engine). And much better with DMM and PhysX

  • I like drawing faces that look a lot like penises 8=D

  • Best physics are on endorphin\euphoria games.

    Gta IV

    Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

    Backbreaker

    Red Dead Redemtion

  • Actually, that's just animation. Yeah sure they are generated on the fly, it still doesn't handle physics.

Personally, digital molecular matter looks cool to me.

  • Facebreaker?

  • @wyattsawesome no half life is

  • Crytek and Source are some really good physics engines. Its takes a bit of work to have great physics in a game. Water physics in general are extremely hard to make true to life..

  • half-life 2 has the best physics

  • red faction 3

  • That's not physics, it's collision detection.

  • Comment removed

  • Physics is applied collision detection combined with Newton's laws and some rotational math and integral calculus.

  • yup

  • Flatout's physics aren't realistic at all (pretty cool though :))

    NR2003 does have realistic physics.

Never played TOCA, so it's hard to compare.

    GT Legends has realistic physics.

And Nascar Sim Racing's physics seem very similar to NR2003's.

Of course, I'm not talking about the eye-candy physics, but I;m talking about the racing physics. You're not supposed to hit stuff and go off the track :)

  • do it better

  • This is so lame.

When talking about physics in racing games its about physics between the tires on the car and the road and such..

    Not hitting things

  • Indeed. And even so, great games do definitely not have to have realistic physics to be fun. Fun is not defined, I think by even a fraction of the gaming community, as "as realistic as possible." If it were, we'd probably just go and play outdoors instead of play video games. :-D

  • who els noticed all the plates tell the same way in that second game. pre coded whoo

and its kinda fun you yell games need to be realistic and then throw in flatout

  • are you dumb???

  • I Loled at The cones :)

  • Video games don't have to be realistic, they have to be fun to play. Check the physics in Vice City for example - they are kinda poor and not realistic, yet, the game is fun. Its the same for many old games like Re-Volt.

I didn't play nascar for example, but I assume it has good driving physics, they might not be based on a complex physical model, but they still work. Physics is not only object-object but also interaction between object and scene, and that is what results in good gameplay.

  • if you like gta vice try gta4. its way more fun becouse of the physics. things blow up alot more realistic. people are haning from doors and are draged along when you drive away and people react wya better when they are shot

its still the same game but enhanced becouse of the physics. thus imroving gameplay and fun.

i agree not all games need physics(realistic tertis o dear) but it generally makes games look and play better

  • actually.. I own GTA4 (I bought it directly on release day for xbox), and I didn't complete it yet. If you check my profile you can see that I made lots of VC and SA stuff (not everything is on youtube tho, but I made alot). Personally, I think that GTA4 ruined GTA with its physics, because what once began as a game, controlled by gameplay, turned into a physics sandbox. But maybe thats just me..

  • i love flatout such a great game

  • Crysis

    Grid

    warmonger (free from nvidia)

    far cry 2

Those are the games with good physics

All the rest are alright but unbelivable

    warmonger is almost 100% believable

    And its FREE!!!!

  • Half Life 2 you fool. Great physics (except for a few huge bugs).

  • The physics are ok

But there's no good examples of it

Just some barrels and a see-saw

No destructible scenery like in crysis and no damage to cars or anything

  • what about GTA4? getting shoot out of speeding vehicles isn't a normal physics.. or starwars with that whatever DMM..

  • I have NR1999, and it's... Well, there's no physics. Your car sticks to the ground. But at least they tried for damage modelling.

  • 3:57 is not really realistic. pilot body should be torn apart and lots of blood and guts everywhere.

  • Whoopee. So you can drive through signs in NR. Big deal. In Nascar '08, your car practically STICKS TO THE GROUND. In some cases, I have seen the car front bumper go below ground. And this is for the PS2. O.o

  • you should check out crysis! its not a racing game but you wont believe your eyes

  • you're a dick

  • WHOA! that Nascar game has amazing physics!!!

  • PHYSICS ARE NOT ONLY CRASHING OBJECTS, there are a lot of games that you can crash everything but the driving techinics sux. NR2003 Season has a realistic driving physic.

  • Joo got qwn,pwn and own by the youtube community.

  • Best physics is euphoria

  • @camargo152

realistic? This game is everything but realistic xD... Car driving physics suck in this game. GTA 4 has probably the most realistic driving physics yet...

  • @krele14 Are you joking!?

  • @NukeMyHouse

Not at all. Play it first, then make your assumptions, sir =)

  • @krele14 I Have GTA 4, been there, done that. Have played Forza and many of the Gran Turismos, and Grid, Burnout Paradise and Revenge, Split Second, as well as Flatout Head On... I'm pretty sure I know my stuff.

  • @NukeMyHouse Try Rigs of Rods. its a soft body physics game that you can download on youre computer. you can crush a car into a wall!

  • @befindox7 I have it. lol

  • @NukeMyHouse woah! i dont.. : (

  • flatout ftw

  • this video sucks asshole

  • Nascar Racing Season 2003 is renowned for it's driving physics. Not for it's ability to entertain clowns who can't keep their car on the road.

If you disagree, listen to what a real nascar driver has to say:

    youtube watch?v=TYYLL9lxZng

  • no offense but the person who made this is as stupid as they get

  • MrFishSticks says the person who made a video is stupid but MtFishSticks can't even make a video. All MrFishSticks can do is insult people who can do things. Now who is really the stupid one?

  • i dont make videos coz i dont wanna fill youtube with pointless videos like this, i leave the video making to the ppl who can actually make videos, unlike this guy

i mean seriously NSR2003 vs Flatout? id get it if u compared how realistic the physics are by comparing games like cellfactor vs HL2 but this...

  • and just for the record i respect the videos that deserve respect

  • MrFishSticks Is a douche

  • If you can understand in the last couple of years NR03 had great Phyiscs for its time, but now the updates are numerous and there are soo many better GPUS that can handle better things in games.

  • Whole lot of effort for nothing. Like people are saying, you've completely missed the point.

  • stupid stupid stupid.

so you can knock down roadside objects in flatout. so what, you got traction control for babies. that scream. all the fucking time while you're trying to think.

especially all the babies on youtube..

its going to drive me crazy som day..

  • hmm..i dont think you race with 30+ people in GT games do you?

  • Hmmm...what's so good about Toca? You hit a sign...2 seconds later the exact same sound comes up over and over again.

  • What the fuck is this about? This is nothing to do with game physics...we're talking about the handling of the car, not crashing into scaffolding...Jesus tonight...what a clown

  • To the person who said GT racing is harder...you really don't know what it's like to try to overtake and avoid disaster when racing in a pack that can include dozens of cars, and making a turn in the middle of a 3-wide with cars both in front of you and behind. Compare that to following the exact same racing line every bloody lap, and being too afraid to overtake someone because you don't want to bump the other guy with your precious car.

  • ya the cone hitting is my #1 priority when buying a racing game......wtf ur an idiot...NR03 was made to sim nascar and u rarely see peeps hit cones in nascar anyhow thats obviously not what its about, even though u think so

  • SirPef... you do realize that when people say NR2003 has "great physics", they're not talking about rigid body physics of trackside objects, right? Who cares if you can knock over road cones? That's not the point of physics in racing games (With the exception of the flatout series.) NR2003 is said to have great physics because the cars handle very realistically and react as a real car would.

  • Bravo SirPef. SimBin makes the most realistic sims. GT racing is far more harder than going left in roundabouts. Ovals are boring and useless for racing. I appreciate you for trying to set these rednecks straight. I also have ToCA 3 and it's a great game.

  • i have all the games in this video and nascar 2003 and toca 3 are the best
