  • young and coming chefs. ha (0.51)

  • How do two French chefs try to defeat each other in a cooking duel?

    Answer: By cooking Italian!

  • the challenger is not very hygenic!

  • yaix!! the way the chalengger test the taste!! his saliva will be on the carpaccio!! a definite loser

  • The idea is to slurp, no actual contact takes place and nothing can 'back-wash' because of that fact...

    Supposedly...

  • hate the challenger. SO ARROGANT.

  • Personally, I'd pay not to eat caviar but it's always a pleasure to watch Sakai in action

  • The thing about this show, no matter the ingredient they work such magic on it that I WOULD try it, even if the ingredient was something I usually hated.

  • lmao 0:51 young and coming

  • Ahahah I caught that too1

  • Sakai-san is usually pretty witty on his repartee with mouthy opponents, but he's being so serious and very focused in this battle. The challenger oughta watch out. ;)

Also, caviar, though expensive and decandent makes a very tricky secret ingredient. It's going to be pretty cool to see the end results of this. And that caviar was $1500/can in the 1990's. Much more expensive today. :)

  • Geez, this ingredient costs a fortune. I've never seen caviar used in such big portions

  • I don't think you'll see it again either.

  • Tomato sorbet topped with caviar actually sounds good. I am surprised neither chef made an egg dish, like a royale, but maybe that was a bit too obvious. I do wish I was a taster on that panel.

  • The challenger is not being very nice... I hope Sakai kicks his butt.

    :)

  • they use the ice cream machine for some ... interesting combos..lol
