  • Ahh the Coventry Cathedral Harrison and Harrison... it's lovely but underrated having (deliberately) a more continental sound than the traditional British organ that that firm normally specialised in. It's not the biggest but very powerful and fires straight down the nave: very thrilling.

  • Bravo, Diane Bish you have been my best organist

    God bless you.

  • Beautiful-My mother is an organist-Julliard, NY- and loves Diane Bish and the historical series she did

  • Very Very Impressive. Excellent Registration selection and very good tempo and feel for this piece. Of course this is not a easy piece to play on the organ. So My Hat is off to you diane. Bravo. Handle would be proud. I am Definitely going to say Yes!

  • Behold the organ! King of all musical instruments!!!

  • This has to be the best performance of this piece by Handel ever! I recommended to John Hong that he listen to Bish play this piece and I think he did. OUTSTANDING! She uses every inch of this organ...it exciting and thrilling to listen to her attack on this piece! Praise the Lord!

  • I love that organ - a total beast of an instrument.

  • very good! love it x

  • Indeed, Handel is said to have told his assistant he had seen the Face of God

  • Marvellous rendition. Wonderful force behind the music and the acoustic really compliments the wonderful playing of Diane Bish.

  • It is said that Handel spent days on end in his quarters and did not emerge until he completed this work. He was in tears when he finally did emerge citing that he could see Heaven in all of its splendor as he composed this work. In this performance Diane Bish really captured the shear joy and jubilation Handel must have felt. Awesome!!

  • Only Ms. Bish can play this piece like the composer intended it to be played. With Vigor, forceful, unafraid of it! Bravo Bish!

  • Did you film this yourself? By any means, it was of a good sound quality.

  • Audio came from a separate microphone system set further back in the church.
